Even tho close to a busy street the yard with all the deer was great! One came right up to me and ate an apple out of my hand. Checking in and out was very easy, we enjoyed our stay.

Hill Country Getaway

Cute cottage, quiet and great location!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Only 2 blocks away from Main Street so loved the location. In a residential area but because it is by a creek, it is very quiet and peaceful and the view from the back porch was lovely. Several deer visited in the morning. The cottage was so cute and rustic and was perfect for me and my husband. Will be back for sure!!

45th Wedding Anniversary Trip

The trip was a huge success. Not only was the cabin just as we wanted but they had wine, chocolate strawberries, and flowers with a very professional table set for a romantic dinner. As the sun was setting the deer were walking around the yard as we enjoyed our jacuzzi with the wine and strawberries.

I liked seeing all the deer on the property. I also liked the property was with in walking distance to Main st. I felt the outside of the porches could have been a little more tidy and cleaned off.

Fredricksburg/Fiesta weekend

The first "visual" we saw as we drove up to the property were multiple deer in the back yard and down by the creek--definitely a deal-maker! The deer were in and around the property despite thunderstorms during our weekend stay. Easy 2 block walk to Main street and all the action. Only down-side is no stand-up shower. We will definitely stay again!

Our visit

Great location, loved the deer on the property to feed. Cute but not as clean as I would have liked. The house did have all the conveniences.. nice towels, bath room supplies and little kitchen was equipped. Biggest problem was there were no shades on the windows and the house is on a major busy street, could be remedied! And a ful length mirror would have been nice..we rated it a 3 stsrs

Great Location

The owner is wonderful to work with. We arrived on 12/28 and was excited to see a Christmas tree on the front porch and other décor in the yard. The home sits on a large lot that backs up to a creek which makes it private, and is very conveniently located in town. You could walk to Main Street which would probably take less than 5 minutes. The main shopping however would take longer to walk to. The home is decorated in antiques and the kitchen resembles probably circa 1940 which actually adds to the ambiance of the home. The large hot tub is just off the kitchen and is private (at night). This home is best suited for two however we did bring our 11 yr. old son who slept on the couch. Although the bathroom is very roomy it does only have a claw foot tube which is common in many of the B&B’s but is something you should take note of, particularly for those individuals who may have problems stepping in and out or prefer a shower. We also enjoyed the sitting area Lindsey created in the yard under the canopy of trees!

Pictures do this gem no justice!

This is the cutest little charming cottage within walking distance to Main. The bed was comfy. Loved taking baths in the old clawfoot tub! The deer in the yard are the cherry on top along with the hot tub. While in the hot tub, a deer came within 4-5 ft from us. We bought them a couple bags of deer corn.

Weekend Get Away

Nice little house, great location and very peaceful. We were here 4 nights 5 days so we had several clothes, there was not a place to hang them or a place to put them in. The furniture in the den is limited to one antique couch, which is pretty but not functional for relaxing and watching TV. The front and back porch are awesome for sitting on and watching the deer however the mosquitoes were horrible so bring off or somtheing to repel them. All these are minor things. We would definitely stay here again.

Visiting from Frisco (North of Dallas Tx) enjoyed Fredericksburg and loved Luckenbach.Wonderful time. Thank you Lindsay for all the great communication. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the 1000’s of firefly’s at sunset. Awesome!!

Cozy Cottage

Love the vicinity of the cottage to Main Street and also felt like we were close to nature. Deer were resting in the front yard when we arrived and enjoyed watching them during our stay.
