Potential Lost

This property has the potential to be a nice stay. However, the house is filthy. All of the beds had been previously slept in. There was dirt and hair on the sheets in every bed and the sheets had to be washed before they could be slept in. The bathroom was dirty, the refrigerator had not been cleaned, every window sill had dead bugs in it. There were huge dust bunny’s and hair balls on the floors. The downstairs unit smells strongly of mold. The internet did not work, so there was no TV available. The property manager did not send a repair person as they said they would.

We arrived to a trashed out home. Nothing cleaned, bugs everywhere. All beds used and no clean sheets or towels. Trash cans full in home, making it smell. Roaches all in kitchen. Urine on floors in bathroom. Old fish and food in barn fridge making it smell horrible. Trash by the curb for two weeks per neighbors and they wanted it removed. Waited outside for an hour and half while cleaning crew half way cleaned. We grabbed rhem before leaving because they didnt change all sheets and blankets. White poweder substance all in home on floors and on and in couch. Where informed that they were treating for bed bugs. Had to buyvour own insect and roach killer just in order to stay. Reached out to VBRO and management company with no reaponce from owner on refunding to accomidate the horrible experance. The pictures are nothing like what the home looks like, couch downstairs stated fold out and it is NOT! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Still have yet to receive a responce from host or management company on rectifying this issue.

Roaches in kitchen, upstairs shower was extremely hot and couldn't adjust downstairs shower was either hot or cold couldn't get it adjusted to take showers the beds sheets were dirty when we turned the sheets back on some of the beds their was some dirt and found a few hairs the light in the living room didn't work the couch SUCKED when you sit on it you literally were almost sitting on floor it didn't specify in the description that the downstairs was not connected to the upstairs. It's like two different houses we needed for the kids to sleep in the bunk beds but couldn't leave kids downstairs, half the arcade games didn't work air conditioner in the game room didn't work. Refrigerator was nasty full of frozen dead fish.With blood in the bottom of the freezer internet kept cutting out and wouldn't hardly work in downstairs we had a hard time getting the downstairs bathroom door to lock also the blankets that were on the beds were so thin you could see through them. We had to go buy our own blankets. This is the first time I was not happy with the house. I want a refund.

Entered Trash Bins outside full, Dirty Floors, Carpet dog hair, Bed Bugs in one room, Cockroaches in Kitchen, Bathroom smelled like urine, Low Pressure in Both Bathrooms, no cold water in one bathroom hot! 2nd Day upstairs Bathroom Plugged, Downstairs Smelled like Mold, Only Decent Place was the Game Room and the Fishing Docks!

Fishing trip Stay

The house was great and the shop was fun as well. Short drive to the beach and restaurants. Definitely smaller than the pics make it out to be but we still had plenty of room for 12. One Neighbor is also a rental and the cleaner was super friendly and gave us great fishing information. The other neighbor is a complete A-hole who will complain about anything you do and feels very entitled. Has a fairly rude sign up on the fence that you may want to cover if you have little ones running about. Also the if you bring a larger center console you will be on the bottom at low tide. Maybe 16" at low tide and 2.5' at high tide.

Great Family spot

This property is an excellent choice for the family. My grandkids had a blast fishing and playing the video games. The rest of the family spent time around a campfire and enjoying the peaceful evenings talking. We will definitely be back.

Great place for big groups!

This beach house is absolutely a fantastic place if you’re looking to book for a big group and need entertainment. The space across the street from the house is fantastic for hanging out. The house was big and beautiful with plenty of space to relax! My only negative comment is on the specific less than desirable condition on some needed repairs around the house. Holes in the ceiling and walls are a quick easy fix that are needed. Communication with management of the rental was exemplary!!
