Surfside Condo

This is a perfect place for just a few people. There were 4 of us, but 6-8 would have plenty of room. The condo was very clean, WiFi was great, kitchen very nice and roomy. Most importantly steps to the beach. Another plus was the huge porch. The hanging chairs were awesome. We will definitely be back.

The location is great - almost right on the beach - the area is quiet and clean. Home is gorgeous and well cared for. We are definitely coming back!

Great place for a family getaway

My children loved having beach toys to play with and the umbrella and chairs provided made it 10x easier so we did not have to bring our own. Place was clean and well taken care of.

Perfect for Mother Son trip!

We absolutely loved the property! It was beautifully decorated, fantastic porch, beautiful view, steps from the beach and the beds were AMAZINGLY comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location!

Everything was very clean and nice when we arrived. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your stay at the beach, even a wagon to haul it all in! We will definitely be back!

First time in Surfside

The property was perfect. Location and view were awesome. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The porch is spacious and we enjoyed a lot of time out there as well. We definitely will be back!

Great view and location

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was great. The patio chair was broken ( a courtesy refund was made by the owner ) but it kept me and my wife from sitting together and watch sunsets. Overall, it was a great place to chill.

Great Location and Setup

The property is right next to the beach(less than a 2-minute walk), and the property comes loaded with supplies so that you literally only need to show up. No need to bring a ton of beach toys or anything else as they provide so many to make the stay easier on you. Great deck with a wonderful view.

Birthday Beach Bash!

Beautiful quaint beach house. Perfect for a quick getaway or celebrating a birthday with the family. Very well organized and well stocked house. Enjoyed the amenities as well as the laminated handbook that provided detailed instruction and information not only for the house but the surrounding area. Amazing patio and a short walk from the beach. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Fantastic property

This was a great place to get away! Such a cute, clean, inviting house, they thought of everything! We loved the swing chairs and the custom ice chest on the deck. All the beds were like sleeping on a cloud, I need to buy all the bedding for my own house! Even the towels are nice and fluffy! Beautiful beach views from every window. Very easy, couple of minutes walk to the beach. Loved it here, thanks so much!

Beach Front Luxury

We had a great vacation and enjoyed the five star accommodations. They had everything covered! Luxury down to the finest details. Even had to order myself some Kate Spade throws after experiencing the linens provided. Comfortable, pristine, beautifully decorated house; if your going to Surfside this house should be your first choice!!

Loved every minute

My family and I had the perfect stay here. Clean home, comfortable bedding, fully stocked kitchen, toiletries and a very friendly owner. Also, the home is kid friendly. My daughter loved the book corner and all the games provided. Even had dishes and cups for the kids! The home is located steps from the beach. Beautiful views. Khalimah was quick to address my needs and they were all met. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

Texas Beach Retreat

Just spent 3 days with our 3 granddaughters - 1st grade and younger. Condo was set up perfect for our little group. Kiddos loved the bunk beds, and our bedroom was set up nice with a comfy bed. Everything we needed from the Kitchen, Living room, to the beach toys was at our fingertips. The beach wagon was the best to haul everything down to the beach...which was right outside the condo with a very short walk. We enjoyed making memories with the girls and this condo was the easy button we needed.

Wonderful House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside Oasis! The house has a great view of the gulf, was just as described and only a few steps to the beach. The furnishings, bedding and towels were upscale, which we appreciated and the owners were wonderful to work with and very responsive to questions. This is a nice property that’s not in a touristy area, which our group of 7 loved. If you want to venture off the beach, Galveston is a short 45 minute drive and Houston isn’t much further. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this rental. The Schouten Family

Clean, comfortable, close to the beach

We had a great time staying for an extra long weekend at surfside oasis! The condo was just as clean and lovely as the photos show, and it was GREAT to have filtered water. The beds and furniture--inside and out--were also super comfortable. We're not sensitive sleepers, but if you are--just a warning that you're sharing walls with other condos where you can hear other families or friends if they're having parties or out on their patios. Just an FYI if you're a gentle sleeper! It didn't bother us.

Quick Trip to the Beach

The condo was wonderful! Clean and pretty with everything we could possible need. I didn't realize when booking that there was another condo building right next to us so we couldn't look directly onto the water, but the view down the beach was still spectacular - especially the sunrise. Loved the swinging chairs on the porch! We only stayed two nights (one full day). The bed was super comfortable and the linens were so soft! Can't wait to go back when it's warmer and we have more time so we can play with the beach toys in the storage unit. We will be back!

Sensational Beach front Stay

This property does not disappoint. The location couldn’t be better! The condo itself is very well appointed, extremely well cared for, has really comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, a fabulous deck where you can enjoy the gulf and truly relax. Everything is here that you could possibly need for the beach and your stay. If there were enough room to write more here I would but will only say that we will most certainly be back! The owners are fabulous, very attentive and communicative. There is nothing I would change and if I could give it 10 stars I would.

The house looks just like the pictures. It's super cute and clean. Has everything you need. Steps from the beach. The storage area has beach chairs, a huge basket of beach toys, a cooler, kayaks, umbrella, canopy, wagon. The bedding and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a rental or even a hotel, even on the bunk beds. The front porch was the absolute best. The porch swings and patio furniture were a great touch. We sat out there every evening and enjoyed the bluetooth speaker provided by the owners. The owners have literally thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and carefree. Just bring swimsuits and go!

Perfect for our family of 5

Our family just checked out from our 3 night stay here and are headed home now. It was everything they advertised it to be. We loved it. We prefer Surfside over Galveston for the more relaxed feel. We set up our tent on the beach on Sat morning and left it there until Sunday evening. We were able to go out for a couple hours at a time and our spot was still there waiting for us. The deck is amazing; took a nice nap there on the couch. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen was there. Plenty of towels provided. Games in the TV stand, we added a couple puzzles and a deck of cards. The kids, ages 5 & 7 loved the cute little reading book! This place was so perfect for our family of five. Thank you!

We had a good time

We came last year and learned a few days before our trip this year that the place was being sold to a new owner. That being said, there were a few minor organizational and cleanliness issues that seemed to have gotten lost in the shuffle. The new owner was communicative and efficient at resolving things that we brought to her attention, and seemed like the type of owner that will tend to the other issues promptly once she has a chance to (she closed on the property just a few days before our arrival). The condo is decorated beautifully and the porch is fantastic. The beds have nice linens and are very comfortable. We came to the same condo last year and loved the place, which is why we came back. However, it’s important to know that in peak season this is not a quiet and tranquil destination. Last year we had the beach almost to ourselves. This year it was a parking lot. By Saturday there were thousands of people, lots of music and drinking. If that’s your scene you’ll enjoy it. Still lots of kids and families there. We are from DFW so we were looking to escape the crowds somewhat and listen to waves, so it was a bit disappointing that the environment wasn’t what we experienced last year. But that won’t bother you if you are the fun-loving extroverted type. If you aren’t then try going early May or not during the peak. One thing I like about this place is the accommodations for kids, including lots of games, beach toys, and the book nook. All in all we had a good time. One suggestion- blackout curtains for the bedrooms. It really helps us parents to get our kids to sleep in later. :) Overall a good place and worth a visit!

5-star stay!

My daughters and I have been coming to Surfside since 2012 and we have stayed in a different house every time but this is one we will definitely come back to. Everything about this house was comfy. The sofas and chairs, the beds, the linens, the patio furniture, and we especially loved the hanging basket chairs. The location was very convenient and the house had everything we needed. Checking in was easy and the hosts were responsive. This is definitely the house to stay in when in Surfside!

Comfortable, beautiful, easily accessed beach

The condo was thoughtfully planned for guests! We felt welcomed and cared for. The kids played with the games and puzzles and loved the reading nook. Plenty of beach towels for the family to use, and the porch is as beautiful as advertised. The host was responsive and helpful. Beach access was easy - a simple walk-over bridge straight to the sand. Great experience!

Beautiful Property Steps from the Beach

This property had an incredible view and ease of access to the beach. The location could not be beat. Our family appreciated the space, the upgraded interior, the provided beach chairs, and the included beach towels. However, we are homebodies and planned each meal for prep at the property. The dishwasher was rusted, mildewed, and nonfunctional. It was not connected to the countertop and fell out when opened. When we ran the cycle to clean it upon arrival, it never ran. It turned on, drained, and turned off with a beep. Handwashing every dish was not ideal for a relaxing holiday weekend. In addition, we did not find the kitchen well-equipped for making family meals each day. For instance, no knife could cut through bread. Finally, we wanted to enjoy the outdoor views, but the furniture needed to be cleaned, and the cushions on the chairs were tattered. We would not stay again.
