The location cannot be faulted being right on the rathausplatz and an easy walk to everything. The room was spacious, clean and had a lovely view of the square. My only suggestion would be having a kettle in the room or perhaps a small fridge. There is certainly enough space in the room and this would have added a lot.

AC did not work, and the room was extremely hot even with the door open making it hard to sleep. Other than that it was a nice stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 1-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean and modern with great lighting, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is excellent if you want to be near the train station, cathedral and universities. The seating areas in the lobby and at the base of the stairs are great as well. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again. (One note: my iPhone initially mapped me to the parking garage at the back of the hotel when I arrived in Freiburg and walked from the train station - a kind lady walking by told me the entrance was around the block. The entrance is tucked away between some retail stores but easy to find once you know where it is.)

Great location and we appreciated the air conditioning, helpful staff, and clean area. Before getting there, we did not realize that it was in an area that cars were not allowed to drive, but the parking structure was decently close so it was not that big of a deal.

This hotel is centrally located, with many dining, shopping, and cultural attractions within a few minutes’ walk. The main railway and bus station is only a brisk ten-minute walk away. The hotel staff is friendly, the buffet breakfast is excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable, as well as air-conditioned (which, in the middle of a heat wave, was no small thing).

Excellent room which seemed to have been refurbished recently. Bathroom really modern with an excellent, powerful shower. Two small bottles of water provided but no tea/coffee. Staff welcoming and efficient. Good location for all attractions and proximity to trams. We also enjoyed the cocktails in the not so ‘secret’ bar!
