「We so enjoyed this place! On a couple of rainy afternoons it was so cozy with the fireplace on! We had amazing sunsets! Although we wanted to kayak the weather did not cooperate, but what a cove to kayak in! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were so comfortable. We are planing our return.」

「This was such a wonderful old house to stay in. We were there to put on my mother’s memorial and it was a perfect place to come and have some peaceful moments. 「We were very happy with this property. I was charmed by the transparency in the property's description of the orange counters and the narrow staircase, and hopeful when I read the reviews mentioning the wildlife spotted from the deck. One reviewer complained about the smell, which worried me a bit. There IS a distinctive smell, but it just made us think of going to our grandparents' cabins as children. I think it's just a smell to be expected in any old, wooden cabin. It wasn't offputting to us...
