"Hillside Haven is a cozy cottage tucked into the property's back lot. It's a very cute cottage, updated nicely and is very clean. Full kitchen with nice pots and pans and kitchen supplies. The beds are comfortable and closets spacious. If you are looking for a quiet, wooded get away and to still be close to anything you need, this is the place! The owner, Kathy, is gracious and very attentive to communication. Outstanding value !"

"Enjoyed our weekend stay here. Beautifully decorated on the inside. Nice amenities with coffee, cocoa, snacks. House is as described and all communication with the owners were great. Very peaceful and safe neighborhood. Enjoyed the outdoor lightning as well as the neon sign inside. We were here for basketball tournament and this place was about 15 ninutes from the convention center and close to stores, grocery, and many restaurants. Definitely would book here again."

"My husband is from the area and this was perfect for a mini family reunion. Ages 95 to 4 years enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch and hubby caught a fish! The remaining time was spent on the lake or walking in the area. The neighbors were very friendly, we arrived after dark, the house wasn’t well lit but they helped us. We loved the quirky house, my 5’11 man was able to shower without incident, although hit his head going down the stairs. I was disappointed there was not a laundry available,...

"The place was so adorable and comfortable. Also very well appointed with plenty of paper products and dish soap, laundry pods and dishwasher pods and trash bags. The setting of the place is back off the road up on a lovely hill in a clearing w a yard surrounded mostly by woods. Was so nice to sit on front porch and listen to the birds and watch the squirrels. Saw a deer pounce by the side window one day. One early morning my husband sat on the front porch and enjoyed watching a thunderstorm....

"This property was exactly what I was looking for. However it might not suit everyone. It was very clean and recently updated. It is very rural, sits on a large grassed empty lot on the water with a nice dock. There is no washer/dryer, the kitchen is in a separate room but is very well done and stocked, it has an additional separate bathroom in addition to the one bedroom area. The bedroom is small with no hanging closet and a very small dresser. The bathroom is well laid out with a huge shower....

"The view!!! Absolutely stunning! The cabin is BEAUTIFUL! We loved it! We were surprised by a raccoon on the back deck every night 🦝 the cutest trash panda! Then, a family of bears were just outside of the front of the cabin, we were thrilled with the wild life we got to see! It was our first time in this particular area and we can’t wait to return!! My ONLY complaint is that the banister on the back deck was a little loose, luckily our children are teenagers and knew to stay away from...
