Great house

Overall the house was great. The pool and hot tub were not clean when we got there and that was disappointing. The pool company came the next day to clean, but it was a little disconcerting at this price point. The oven is a Wolf, but it never worked properly. It took 3hours to cook a large pan of lasagna. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 5 couples we had to celebrate September birthdays. Fripp Island is beautiful.

Girls Weekend Getaway

We came with a large group for a girl’s weekend and it was the perfect location! The house opens up to the gorgeous backyard and we spent 80% of our time in the hot tub and by the pool - this is a very spacious home with plenty of room while still feeling cozy. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a cozy home with a gorgeous and fun pool situation!

Outstanding!

This awesome home is located in its very own, private paradise! The home was lovely throughout: the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the dining area was perfect and the pool and outdoor entertaining area are amazing. Our family group of 12 members ranged in age from 6 to 77 and we all loved 518 Remora. The beaches, nature trails and shopping/dining areas were all a short golf card ride away, but the truth is we spent most of our days enjoying the pool, slide and hot tub. The local property manager was prompt in responding to 2 small issues we had during our stay; He was also very friendly and informative. We used our golf carts everyday so I would say they are a must for most groups. We purchased the amenity cards for all of the adults in our party ($50 each) but we only used them once and that was for dinner at the clubhouse one night. The other restaurant we planned to try was closed during our stay & not taking reservations. There are plenty of good seafood places just off the island & in nearby Beaufort and shopping on Fripp is very limited, so I would suggest the amenity cards are not a must UNLESS your group includes golfers and/or tennis players. Just assess your needs & research the amenity cards carefully before purchasing. One final suggestion: Be sure to head for the beach for some gorgeous sunsets during your stay. You'll love Fripp Island!

New Years at Fripp

We had a large group of "Framily" friends who stayed in this "Guest Cottage" over New Years. We have all been to Fripp numerous times and this was the coolest space we have stayed. The hot tub and even the pool were a major hit. The kitchen is amazing and everyone had a bed. Great space and we would def stay again.

The New Standard

If you want a house for multiple families, look no further. Everything you see in the pictures is even nicer in person. Huge amount of fridge space, double stoves, double dishwashers, double washer/dryers, outdoor kitchen. Having your own pool is a HUGE plus. The layout of the house and furnishings were top notch. There are only a few smalls stairs to get up to the house, which made it doable for the granddad. The elevated beds made things a little tougher on the little grandmom, but she managed just fine. We complemented the house over and over saying how glad we were to be there. This is the new standard for future family vacations.

Mom/ Son House

After having to cancel our Jamaica trip due to Covid, we thought we wouldn't be able to make it up to our kids to plan a final senior year break. WE WERE WRONG! This is the BEST house on the island and Fripp is a hidden gem. I've never been until now. Already planning a parent trip back and would stay in this house every time! Fantastic vacation

Fripp island is beautiful, secluded, and friendly. A perfect vacation site for families. This house is gorgeous! It has every amenity for a group; double dishwashers, laundry machines, stoves, extra refrigerated drawers. Not to mention that the pool and outdoor living space is out of this world beautiful. The pictures didn’t do this house justice. Only negatives I could come up with are minor; had to skim the pool daily (lots of leaves, but I’m confident that’s a plus in the summer!) and could have used more hand towels.
