“Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you ”

“Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. ”

We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was gorgeous, and would be even nicer when warmer as each has a little table and chairs in front - the room had everything you could want v spacious and gorgeous Temple Spa bathroom products, and a lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of Copper House gin ;) lovely meal in the restaurant and delicious breakfast. We were there combining a whiskey tour and tasting just next door which would highly recommend. We know and……

“Such a fantastic hotel, parking on site but small, there is a paid carpark right near by that is not expensive. The room has everything and more, beautiful furnishings. Lovely walk along the promenade. ”

“Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast! Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side. Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.”

“We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”
