The town was peaceful the night we arrived at the hotel. We traveled relatively late, so the reception called me to remind me that I had a dinner reservation. We checked in late, but the people at the reception were nice, and when we went to the dining hall, we were the only ones left and they had dinner all set up already. Even so, they were not impatient nor rushed us while we ate. The hotel room we booked was the combination Western and Japanese style room so there was plenty of room for the two of us. We used the Japanese area mainly. In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised by a giant view of Fuji. It was breathtaking. The late is right outside the hotel as well. Inside the room, the room feels tiny bit run down and the bath room was a bit smelly. Otherwise, it was clean so my boyfriend and I had a decent sleep. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will bring you pretty much to different points of interests around the lake.
