Very pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils and dishes. Lots of space for everyone, enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and the big dining room table. Beautiful surroundings with trees and flowers. Kids really had fun in the game room.

Great family getaway

We booked Timber Ridge for an extended weekend. 6 adults and 4 kids had a great time in the house and in visiting Galena's sites. Kitchen was well stocked so we could cook family meals. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. Game room was a bonus! Highly recommended!

Great family vacation

This was our second year staying at this lovely home. There were eleven of us and we had plenty of room for all. We enjoyed the screen porch, large dining table, hot tub etc. We are looking forward to staying again next summer.

Easter Weekend Family Getaway

Great place to stay

We all had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of games. The play area snd sleeping area for small children was terrific. We will be back.

Very clean comfortable and spacious property. Enjoyed the Galena area sites & restaurants. Great location with access to the General Golf/Convenience Store & the Highland Restaurant/Lounge. We will likely return in the summer/fall time frame!

Wonderful house! Perfect family spot with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Listened to the birds and enjoyed our coffee on the screened in porch each morning. Would definitely recommend!

Best VRBO EVER

This is one of the best VRBO properties you will ever stay at. It is charming, UBER clean, and you can tell that the owners were meticulous in the time that they put into this renovating this property. There is something to do for the entire family. I wish we could have stayed longer. Kudos to the owners!!!

Great place for a family vacation!

We had 12 family members staying at this lovely home! It was large enough to accommodate all of us. There was so much to see in this thoughtful 6 bedroom home. I especially liked the theater room and the screen porch! We will be going back soon I hope.

Absolutely great family fun!

Long Easter weekend was our Christmas gift to our family! The home was perfect for everyone, from the game room, to the hot tub, movie room, huge dining room table for family dinners, and our youngest granddaughter loved her "own crib" ( she's 2)! Very relaxing too! I can't say enough good things about this home! Great host too!

Love Timber Ridge

This is the 5th year our family stayed at Timber Ridge to celebrate Christmas and we’ll keep coming back. The game room and Sapling room are great for keeping kids entertained. The home is secluded behind trees and has beautiful surroundings. The dining room and table is large enough for everyone. The beds are the most comfortable of any rental we’ve stayed at. Our family loves this house.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Kitchen is small but workable. The bed mattress needs to be replaced. The heating in upstair room is less but manageable. No shampoo/body wash in bathrooms..

Basswood Lane was an amazing stay! We visited Galena and stayed at this home, which absolutely met all of our needs. When it came to the cleanliness and all the amenities, the house has to offer. It was a perfect home for all of our families. Downtown is a 15 minute drive and close to a bunch of shops and eatery in town. Weather came to the hot tub, the movie theater room or the amazing dining room table. All we did was laugh and enjoy our time at this house. Such a cool spot. All of our kids loved it and we created some great memories this weekend thank you for letting us stay at your home and I 10 out of 10. Recommend this house. PS this was also one of the first houses that I have ever been to that legit had everything that you have at your own home. Pots pans, utensils, you name it this house had it. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great Getaway

Our family of 8 adults and 4 kids, aged 7-11, had a wonderful weekend. It was too cold for outdoor activity but there was lots to keep everybody entertained in the roomy house and separate game room. We were gathering for a late Christmas celebration and were happy to see the Christmas tree and decorations around the house. We contacted the service for early check-in, and again with a problem with the game room door lock, and our concerns were handled quickly and courteously. We would consider using this house again and recommend it to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group had an absolutely excellent stay at Timber ridge! There were three families, all with small children and we did not feel short on space at any moment during our stay! There was plenty for all the kids to do, and space for the adults to be away from children while they were sleeping. The game room was super fun for everyone and the playroom under the stairs was so fun for our children of varying ages! We super appreciated the large enough table to be able to fit all of our guests and all of the accommodations made for even our littlest group member. Linda was very helpful during our stay and answered questions promptly. We had a wonderful experience and stay at Timber Ridge and would absolutely stay again!

Great home for a golf trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. Christmas get-away with the extended family

This was the perfect setting for my family's Christmas celebration. Three days of rest, games, and laughter. Plus shopping in Galena! The home suited our needs perfectly. Very clean and spacious. Only downside was the Internet speed. Would have loved to have used the theater room more, but the slow speed kept us from watching anything there. Excellent job on that room, by the way. I managed a small theater in my twenties and loved seeing the splicer!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place for a family of 12 to enjoy the area of Galena. The various rooms allowed for family to find a place for their own needs as well as the living room that allowed for all of us to gather together. The game room and toy area under the stairs was a hit with the children along with the movie theatre. The screened in porch was a perfect place to begin the morning with the sunrise. The owners have made this place feel like home and we appreciate them opening it up for rental for us to enjoy.
