I had a large group of 10 staying the night prior to a cruise out of Galveston the following morning. The house was PERFECT!! It was clean, comfortable, and so cute! We just wish the rainy, cold weather weren’t a factor as we would have loved to spend time out by the pool or the beautiful decks. The house was wonderful and our host was very quick to answer my questions. A wonderful experience!!

There were certain details of the property that we didn’t like (fridge not working properly, mold in the building and in the washer, some furniture being damaged), but we overlooked those details and made it work. We still very much enjoyed our stay and given the opportunity we probably would stay there again.

This Jamaica Beach house was great! There were 14 of us there and we had an amazing time fishing off the dock and enjoying time on the back porch overlooking the canal! The house was very clean! I had to communicate with the owner during our stay and he replied quickly!

Absolutely loved everything about this house! My family and I go to Galveston/ Jamaica beach every year multiple times a year and I have never stayed at a house that my whole family has loved so much. This house will ALWAYS, be our go to house to book during vacation. The host was absolutely an amazing host ! The kids loved the pool the house was big and beautiful! Just an amazing stay!

Overall house and location were good but floors were extremely dirty, multiple cigarette butts on inside patio and outside deck and a used band aid stuck on the pool. Not sure this house was cleaned after the previous use.

I recently stayed at this home on a canal in Jamaica Beach. It was an incredible experience. The fishing was amazing. In the evening, we enjoyed drinks and cooked up a delicious fish dinner. The house was clean and comfortable, and had a great outdoor area for relaxing.

This was a great house. Had everything we needed. I read other reviews before coming and back balcony was fine. Pics could be updated as far as furniture goes but still very comfortable. This house is perfect for large groups. It was just my family of 4 staying. I will definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! Love Jamaica Beach and loved this house. Plenty of room for everyone to be together but still have privacy. The house was clean and updated with seemingly brand new appliances and cookware. LOTS of beautiful outdoor seating spaces where you can choose to be under a cover or in the sun. Russell answered all of our questions and was very helpful. We will be staying here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! We're already talking about a return visit! The house was very clean, spacious, and comfy for our family! The fire pit and picnic tables provided the perfect gathering and eating space, and the outdoor TV and bar area were great as well! We rented kayaks and enjoyed fishing the canals, and the kids caught a few trout from the dock. I really can't say enough about how great this house is, and how much fun we had!! Thank you for opening your home and allowing us to stay here, we couldn’t have picked a better house!

Very impressed with the home. Loved the way the home was organized to allow for separation of our youth. The only thing missing was an outside shower to reduce the amount of sand on the floors, as well as there was not an available broom to sweep the floors.

This was an end of summer trip for my family. With one having just graduated high school and another going into his junior year, we wanted to take advantage of the time we have left with them at home, and the family decided to spend some time in Galveston. The home was beautiful, above and beyond our expectations and the Beachbox team were incredible. They worked with us on an early checkin and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves! The beach was quiet for a summer weekend, and the neighborhood is great! We are hoping to return next Summer!

This property had everything we were looking for. We wanted something quiet, on the water, and great for kids to explore and have fun in the sun. This checked all the boxes. The property is actually not located exactly where we thought it was so we were surprised to discover it was on the opposite side of the street than where we wanted (we wanted bay side rather than shallow canal), but it was great. It worked well for our needs. There are plenty of bunk beds so it can accommodate a large group (two rooms downstairs with two bunk beds each) and three rooms on the main level one of which also has a king size bed and side room with two more bunk beds). Worked out well for our group!

The house was clean and beautiful with spacious decks in the front and back of the house . There were plenty of towels in each room for everyone to use. My elderly parents mostly stayed in the house so they enjoyed the large living room and the back deck with the view of pretty sunrise and sunsets. My brother brought his boat and took family members around the neighborhood canal touring and also went day and night fishing with his friend. And the neighborhood is really pretty; my husband enjoyed long walks around the block just looking at the views. We were just a short drive to Jamaica beach so the family got to enjoy swimming then coming back to the house for meals. Our young adults even rented bikes to explore the neighborhood. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Jamaica Cove.

Home was spacious and clean but in need of updating. It is a nice house that could accommodate 16 or 17 people. It was nice having 3 bathrooms. Coffee and pepper was provided, so you need to bring your salt and any other items for cooking. Even with its shortcoming, I would rent again if I had a large group with a boat attending. I was unable to communicate with our host, it was a Webb problem. I had to call the management office to get a key to the entrance, which was missing and had to use the janitor lock box. They were very helpful.
