We stayed at this property from Thursday to Sunday (June 5–8, 2025). The home itself is beautiful, and the view from the porch was fantastic. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which we really appreciated.
However, several issues made the stay less comfortable than expected. The downstairs bathroom sink didn’t work, the washer didn’t spin water out properly, and the dryer wouldn’t run correctly—it kept showing a lint trap warning even after we cleaned it. The main door wouldn’t stay shut unless it was locked, which was inconvenient and a bit concerning.
The listing says the home sleeps 8, but there weren’t enough chairs or comfortable seating for that many people. The dining and bar chairs had no backs, so meals and group time weren’t as relaxing as we’d hoped. It also felt like the home was staged for selling rather than thoughtfully prepared for guests.
Another big inconvenience was the fridge. The main fridge didn’t work, so we had to make do with a small mini fridge for a three-night stay. That made food planning difficult, especially since grocery stores aren’t nearby (Walmart is 25 minute drive). Also, basic supplies like toilet paper were minimal, with just two rolls per bathroom for the entire stay.
This property has a lot of potential because of its location and layout, but it needs some attention to be truly ready for guests. With a few key improvements, it could be a great beach rental.
