Great house lock malfunction
Comments FAULTY LOCK: The instructions didn’t match the lock. We managed to eventually get the lock to work. After unpacking we locked the door and were headed to a 6:00 p.m. dinner reservation. We realized we forgot something and tried to get back in BUT THE LOCK BOX WOULD NOT WORK. Called for help and left for dinner reservation. I let the customer service representative know that we had a small dog in the house. The Representative (Diego) assured me that he would send a new code for the door and a code to a separate box that held a key. When we returned we tried the new code but the lock wouldn’t work (and the spare key wouldn’t work because the doors were bolted on the inside) CALLED AGAIN. After a long period of time the new representative finally said she would send a locksmith to the house. It was dark and we were using our cell phone flashlights to see. Meanwhile the dog is going crazy inside. My husband started trying windows just in case one was unlocked. He found two. He let us in from the inside. A locksmith came over a short time later and replaced the faulty lock. We have NOT tried using the code instead we are using the key that was in the other lockbox. NOT A GOOD WELCOME EXPERIENCE. DISHWASHER: The top rack falls off. It needs repair or replacement. CLOTHES DRYER: When door is closed the dryer is full of condensation which contributes to the strong mildewy/musty smell in the master suite. (The washer/dryer are located in the closet in

We had a wonderful stay! It had all the space we needed. We did get locked out but I was able to get help within 30 minutes. I loved that it was a walking distance away from the beach. Good for morning walks and evening strolls. I will definitely be booking again.

WONDERFUL BEACH HOUSE!
This place was absolutely perfect!! Loved the lay out, how accessible everything was, pleasantly surprised (guess I read wrong) it was 3 full bathrooms! Everything was in working order, we even got a message stating we could check in early. Hard to find dog friendly homes, even though we left ours with caregivers to just enjoy the weekend with my daughter and her friends. Easy walk to beach, basics were provided, beds were super comfy, and just a good weekend despite weather! I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay again! Only thing was no propane for the gas grill, luckily in-laws live close so we borrowed theirs. People in reviews complained about conditions of home on outside but folks- it’s salt water air! I still give this place 5 stars for location, space, comfort and no issues!!

Great place to stay!!
The house was very clean upon arrival. The view was nice and relaxing. Beds were comfy and it was a short walk to the beach! We do wish there had been some ice trays to make ice, since there was no ice maker in the freezer, and also wish washcloths had been provided. Bath towels and hand towels were provided. We just bought a small bag of ice to solve that minor problem. Overall, this place is highly recommended! Enjoyed our stay and would book here again!

Great spot!
My friends and I came for spring break and we loved it! It was such a great space. The only problem we had was that the door code was changed during our stay and we weren’t notified. We spent a while trying to get back in and lucked out when my friend thought of entering the code with one number changed. It worked but we were almost locked out!

We loved our stay at Blue Ribbon Cottage. It is a great house and located in a great spot. The jacuzzi tub in the master bath didn't work, everything else was wonderful.

Long Weekend Anniversary Getaway
Wonderful stay. The property is well maintained. It is clean and spacious. Nice distance from the beach 2mins walk. Kitchen was well stocked with untensil etc. Couple of things we noted but did not impact stay: No hooks in any of the bathrooms to hang towels. No hangers in the closets to hang clothes. Master bedroom bathroom shower only gave luke warm water when turned to hot. Easy fixes. Would definitely stay here again.

House is ok great location
House is ok location is great. Local staff for this property company is terrible. If they are needed and it is their day off nothing will be done. Bring blankets because what they have on the beds is more like a bed covering/extra sheet.
