Great Weekend Getaway

Flip Flop Flamingo is a amazing place to stay at....looks small from the outside till you open that front door and see what's inside. you get a nice warm feeling when you step in this place. Very spacious....clean. Its located near so many sites....We'll be back for another stay soon.

A little outdated in decor but plenty of towels and clean home. Open space which is good for family. Hot tub was nice.

Great Galveston Stay

We and our dogs enjoyed our stay. The location is walking distance to the beach and close to Strand shopping and restaurants. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice quiet neighborhood. The hot tub is a nice addition too. Very easy check in/out. The hosts are very communicative. This is a perfect long weekend getaway house. We just loved it.

Great getaway!

We had an amazing time during our stay for my husband's birthday! We loved the hot tub and the bikes as well. The only thing I would say is that you're close to the neighbors, and unfortunately for us, our neighbors were outside playing music throughout the day. Which, was only slightly annoying when we were outside in the hot tub. The house stays pretty quiet inside. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house stayed relatively cool. We highly recommend this house for your next getaway!!

Mini Honeymoon was amazing!

Me and my husband and our fur baby stayed here for a mini honeymoon. Galveston is where we had our first date so it’s a very special place for us. This place was in the greatest location, close to all the great parts of Galveston, The Strand and The Seawall. We loved riding the bikes and using the hot tub after exploring, it was very relaxing. Very cute and quaint place, would highly recommend it for a small group or family get away. We loved riding the two person bike!

Great little getaway

We enjoyed our stay. It’s was the perfect location for us. It was a good neighborhood and quiet at night. Great shopping and restaurants were just minutes away. The house was very clean and bed was comfortable. They provided all the essentials we needed to make it feel like home away from home. We will definitely be using them again for our next trip to Galveston.

We enjoyed our stay Flip Flop Flamingo. Comfortable, great location, walked to beaches and restaurants and The Strand. Hot Tub is excellent. Quirky old house was fun.

Flip Flop Fantastic!

We absolutely loved this historic oasis! Location is perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The hit tub wss definitely a bonus. I recommend this property for anyone wanting to be centrally located but out of the tourist hustle and bustle.

Perfect location!!

We stayed in Galveston on 10-25 and 10-26-2024. The location was perfect for getting around the island with restaurants and the gulf close by. The owners do a great job of communicating through the entire process. We would definitely stay at the Flamingo again.
