House was great location was amazing, but the only let down not enough tv and thr description wasn't correct it states 6 bathroom and it only 4.5 and the bedroom down stairs very small with no acess to a bathroom

Could be a great house
To start off- we were very disappointed in this home. We had stayed a few months ago in a similar size home in Galveston and it was amazing and not available this time, so we tried something different but with similar reviews. The maids hadn't been there when we arrived at check-in at 4pm. They came right after and stayed 35 minutes. The home was dirty, had ants, the couch was torn and had nasty stains- which I used sheets to cover- and the home has a lot of deferred maintenance. There were not enough dishes to cook, plenty to eat off of but the ants kept us from doing that, we had to buy paper goods. No tables to sit at for dinner, etc., except outside but there is plenty of room for tables inside. The mosquitoes were way too bad to sit outside, ( not the owner's fault)- there still needs to be seating for the amount of people that can they advertise can stay, and there was nowhere near that amount. A couch, a chair and 3 barstools were the extent of the inside seating. The home had great reviews which is why we chose it. There is not a 5th bedroom which is what was advertised, and online in their listing to sell the home it is advertised as 4 bedrooms. The 5th is a closet in a bathroom with 3 twin stacked beds that no one can even get on except the bottom one and you are sandwiched between the next one. Do not expect or book this is you need 5 bedrooms. This could be a very nice place to stay if it was cleaned up and furnished properly. The views were great.

Perfect for Families!
This house is set up perfectly for a large group or large family! The multiple back patios face the bay and were our go-to place to hang out. There’s a large room with 4 beds, and then a side room off of that with 3 additional beds that made a great kids room, with multiple master suites for adults! We loved how many bathrooms this house had, no one had to fight over a shower!

Beautiful and secure location
Great communication with the host. The property was as expected. Our family (8 people) stayed here for one night before we left on a cruise out of Galveston. The only issue we found was getting pizza delivered to the house : - ) We were out of range for many restaurants, but finally found one.

BEWARE!!!
Before leaving this review I did share these deep concerns with the property owner that made the stay difficult and very unpleasant. We were forced to unplug ALL of the smoke detectors in the entire home the first night due to them going off for over an hour after our 8 children (under the age of 11) were in bed at almost midnight. This included us having to go in the attic! Owner said maintenance would come the next am to address the situation and no one ever came so were left with no smoke detectors our entire stay which is unacceptable. Many plugs throughout the house don’t work. The towel holder in the downstairs bathroom was broken and not attached to the wall. The upstairs bathrooms didn’t have any toilet paper holders at all. It appeared there was maintenance happening with all of the unfinished spots of spackle in the home. There were not efficient supplies in the kitchen like pots and pans and serving bowls to make simple meals. No utensils to cook on the grill. The wine fridge had pieces falling apart and was very dirty and sticky. The dishwasher simply doesn’t work and won’t use a soap pod at all. There were several window screens in the upstairs king room on the bed when we arrived that we had to move and that bed completely sinks into a V when sleeping in it. The bunk bed room had a ton of bugs in the beds which was super concerning! The sofa is falling apart with once section completely exposed so you would have to sit on foam you utilize that section. BEWARE!!

Our family enjoyed our stay. It was clean, had everything we needed, and spent a lot of time on dock fishing. Kids caught several. The only hiccup was that the codes were not sent ahead of time but host responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was on point. We had the privacy that we desired. We were only twenty minutes from beach and restaurant. The mosquitoes were a challenge but that couldn’t be helped. Other then that we loved the place.

Perfect for family!
My family and I stayed here to celebrate my husband's aunt's birthday. It was absolutely wonderful. There were plenty of rooms, a beautiful main open area with the kitchen and family room. The view from the deck was just wonderful. We had the chance to walk along the boardwalk and fish...it was a great vacation. We appreciated the lower level breezeway to sit and visit and the downstairs bunk room was fantastic if there were enough people in our party to use them. The area would be great for teens. We would definitely stay here again.
