This 3000 SF home has all that you need to stay a few days or for a month or more. We left no detail without thought or attention. Our hope is for our guests to have their best Galveston stay and to come back again and again.

You will find smart TVs throughout the home, a Sonos sound system (inside and out), high speed internet, digital locks, patio party lighting, games, chess table, beach chairs (4), rolling cooler, pool/beach towels, outdoor shower, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and entertaining (coffee pot, Keurig, blender, Instant Pot, air fryer, Sodastream, etc), a Little Book Library to take and share books, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy your vacation .

Additional Notes: Please read our house rules and guidelines. This is our family vacation home and we expect our guests to treat our home as you would your own. Any desire to host an event at this property should be sent with an inquiry prior to instant booking so that your plans can be approved and an appropriate fee can be set. Please be sure to included the correct number of guests when booking to ensure correct pricing for your stay. This home’s pricing is set for 8 guests at the base available (1-8 guests selected when booking) rate but does increase by $20/day/guest to accommodate the additional usage, cleaning, & linens. We had the absolute best time! The house was perfect for our needs this trip. The kids pretty much lived in the pool and preferred it over the beach. The house is on a main road so i thought it might be noisy but the neighborhood over all was really quiet so evenings by the pool were nice and relaxing. The host was also very nice, and the check-in and check-out process was very easy.

Our family was very happy with the house! It is beautiful and so nicely done. Very comfortable and clean . A perfect location for our family also. Our grandkids enjoyed the pool there. Any concerns that we had, the owner very quickly responded & took care of our needs. Very happy with the communication. We will definitely be coming back to this beautiful home! The house and amenities were perfect. Everyone had something to do. The grandchildren loved the pool after a day at the beach. They also enjoyed playing chess. The house was beautiful. Can't wait to go back!

Great home for adults

The historic house was beautiful, clean, and was nicely stocked for our stay. Car was a wonderful hostess, responding to our questions, needs, recommendations in a timely manner. The location was perfect too. Note: Being a historic house means being mindful of just that and enjoy!

Great place for Dickens

First things first- property is more on the 18th block of Broadway than the 17th block. And only small cars with a good turning radius would be good for the back parking lot. Street parking is fine.Next: the house is gorgeous! Old school antique house with great architectural details and high ceilings. Ample places to sit outside as well. Pool is very inviting even though we didn’t swim. Cold front and rain were happening. You can walk to the Strand if you wish. Great master bathroom, comfortable beds and huge closets.We were very impressed and would stay there again!

Girls Getaway

Our overall stay was amazing. The house was perfect for our girls getaway and allowed enough space for us. Everything from the checkin process to checkout processes was smooth. We did encounter one issue with the pool. It was not heating. This was the main reason we booked this house but I will say communication with the property manager was on point. They answered every question, attempted troubleshooting on their own and when that did not work, they called out an after hours pool company to try and fix the problem. They were not able to fix the issue but the communication with the property manager and the willingness to do whatever they could, made this all ok! We will definitely be back! You wont regret your stay here

Great stay in Galveston

We were at the house for 3 weeks in March. There's plenty of common areas room, nice size bedrooms, ery comfortable beds, a nice, large dining area, and a great location. The home is probably the best-stocked VRBO we've stayed at. Plenty of towels and sheets as well as a very well stocked kitchen--knives, pans, dishes, small appliances, etc. Also, these were all of a high quality, which isn't always the case. We really appreciated that the pool was heated at no additional cost. We had a couple small issues with this during the three weeks--and the owner was VERY responsive. It never became a problem. Be aware, the pool is on the small side, but was fine for our families with small kids. Also, the home is on a busy street with the noise that would accompany that. The owners provided noise machines in the bedrooms which was a great idea and appreciated. Very quickly got used to the situation.

Fun with Friends

Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host was very accommodating, communicative, and informative. The home is immaculate. The location is convenient to everything – the beach, strand, pleasure pier, restaurants, you name it. We loved reading about the history of this home built back in 1912 and marveled at the fact that even after the renovations needed to bring it up to 21st-century standards, the original glory of this magnificent home is still evident throughout. The owners definitely left no detail untouched, anywhere. It would be difficult to say which part of the home we liked best, but if we had to, it would probably be a tossup between the beautiful master suite and the wonderful relaxing pool area. If you enjoy cooking, this kitchen is for you. It is supplied with everything you could possibly need to prepare a feast. The two large living areas are comfortable and like the rest of the home, tastefully decorated. We couldn’t find one thing we didn’t love about My Blue Heaven and we will definitely be back.

My Blue Heaven

Gorgeous and beautiful home!!!! The house was perfect for our family. We had 9 total guests ages ranging from 2-75. The pool was perfect for us after a long day going to Moody Gardens or the beach. The kitchen and grill were a joy to cook in and was stocked with the essentials. The architecture and charm of the home were absolutely beautiful. We will definitely book again!!! Five Stars

Perfect Island Getaway

Our family trip included ages 8-70 we loved being close to all the attractions in town and took advantage of many! The house was perfect in every way-spacious enough for our group of 8 with a great kitchen to cook up our own seafood dinners. Bonus...just around the corner from my Mom's family home on K and 18th! We got to spend time on the beach as well as enjoy the pool in the back yard.We will definitely return again!

Just Wonderful!

My family and I traveled to Galveston for a four day vacation to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. From start to finish, Car (host) was great! The communication was spot on and Car was quick to answer any questions we had. The property is beautiful and in such a great location to explore Galveston. We especially enjoyed the heated pool since we were there in February. If I ever visit Galveston again, there is no doubt I will book this property again!

Beautiful home in Galveston

This was my second stay at My Blue Heaven and it likely won't be my last. Such a beautiful home. We enjoyed it last summer and then again this December to celebrate my milestone birthday. I highly recommend!

Fantastic Experience

Everything about this property was top notch. We stayed here because of the close proximity to attractions we were there to see. We were there to ride the Polar Express, shopping on The Strand, and Seafood. The house was beautiful, clean, had plenty room for our family gift exchange, and was well equipped with everything we needed.
