It was good and convenient since it’s right across the beach. Definitely not a 5 star hotel but it did its purpose.

We stayed here recently and were very disappointed. We checked in and was told there was a continental breakfast. Went to get breakfast. There was a small plastic container with 6-8 very small bite sized cinnamon rolls and coffee only. We woke up in our room to find the floor was flooded with condensation as well. The front staff we spoke to it about was rude and said that can happen on the first floor. We stay in Galveston all the time for weekend a get away and have never experienced floors flooding with condensation. And rudeness. There’s more, but not worth going into it. Don’t stay there.

We do apologize for the inconvenience you experienced, but yes, we have an exterior corridor entrance and when people prop the door open or turn the ac off, it makes the room sweat. We also apologize for any rude behavior encountered with our staff as that should not be an issue. Unfortunately, we do not control how science works. Otherwise, we do hope you enjoyed your stay in Galveston.

This was a simple plain ordinary small room. The bed was clean, comfortable and a wonderful view of the beach. You could hear the street noise and some nights it was pretty loud. The staff were very helpful and kind. We have no complaints. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The showers have almost zero water pressure. That’s enough for me to not come back again. However, the location is great and the price is great. The door locks are really rusted and needed replaced too so security may be a concern as well. 2-3 stars not terrible but not great either

We understand it might be difficult for others but cannot police people unless it is after hours. Rooms have bugs and no complaint was made during your stay, but yet online. Some people are not meant for some places as some places are not meant for all people. Clearly, here is an example.

Hotel for the money wasn’t bad. Room was clean but had some issues in the room. Minor stuff nothing serious. Parking lot was filthy but it was on sea wall. Maybe the wind and stuff blew trash around. Otherwise a nice place.

I was pleased with the accommodations. The room was clean, staff was efficient. The hotel is directly across from the beach & is close, walkable, to everything. I would not hesitate to stay here again when I visit Galveston again.

It was OK for a one night stay. The ocean is across the street and the view was great. The motel itself was very noisy. Walls are thin and people are loud. For the price I would expect more but it was Spring Break so I am sure the price was inflated.

Room smelled bad.... stunk! Key cards didn't work, many trips to office & back up & down stairs, no lifts for assistance. & no maintenance ever came to fix it! TV broken!. Very noisy.

Room had a smell. Beds are very small. Older hotel with no extras. Located across from the seawall so I’m sure they are very busy which makes it hard to maintain. Overall good value if you want the location.

Property was clean, and the staff was nice, but the ac didn’t work properly, and the water in the shower was nonexistent. Literally took my wife 30 minutes to get the shampoo out of her hair. Also they stopped coffee at 9am and also no coffee pots in the rooms. You’d think they would keep the coffee going till checkout. You get what you pay for I guess, although it really wasn’t that cheap.

Don’t leave a cash deposit you won’t get it back and we didn’t get receipt Room key did not work got another one after 30 minutes of frustration finally got the door to open will not stay there again

This is a refundable cash deposit and immediately get it as long as you did not damage the room or smoked (our property is non-smoking) anything in the room. The beach front property has great dining options around and within walking range of the pleasure pier but on the other hand is poorly maintained and they ask for a 100 deposit in case you smoke inside the room . Wish this was disclosed before I booked the room .

We specifically ask for a refundable deposit explaining why the deposit is taken so we do apologize if you had a miscommunication in understanding. After all the money I had paid to stay there for several months, the property always had cigarettes all over the grounds, trash was everywhere and never cleaned up. The staff was ok up until I was trying to get everything out of the room. The lady from the front desk was rude and even called the police on me! I told her that by the time they arrive here, I will have everything out of the room and be gone from here. The next thing was what I had been told about the prices for the room. Back in the middle of February I was told that they won’t be having any weekly rates anymore not to mention that I was told that the room would cost me a ridiculous amount of money such as $300 per night! That was so not true because Expedia stated that the cost would be $74 per night! I always go by what I have shown and not told! Expedia is the best but when it comes to the pricing, run away from here! If you are going to pay $300 per NIGHT, then stay at the San Luis Resort! It is far better and the staff is really nice and great to talk to.

We have weekly rates during our slow season and the rates do vary when season or weekends that are busy come around. We understand that you paid a weekly rate, but the amount of damage you did to our room with your "service animal" was indescribable. I understand you are disgruntled for various reasons, but we do hope you found better accommodations elsewhere, including the San Luis which is 300 per night versus 300 per week.

Just average - location is great; right across the street is the seawall. We stayed in room 226 and the water in the shower was warm but not hot. Coffee was available from 7-9 am but no milk and unfortunately they did not have any to purchase. There was a fridge in the room so you could pick some up.

The room was filthy and it was way overpriced. Broken fan, broken light, black grime in the shower, stains on the mattress, and blood on the wall! Would never ever stay here again
