We had a lovely stay with Fred who is a charming host, very helpful. The outdoor area is excellent although a little far from the kitchen ( ok for younger people) pool and tub spotless. Garden has many interesting plants and creatures. We had glow worms and bats at night, birds in the garden and wild boar in the road. If you like sterile places this is not for you. If you like a bit of character and nature on your door step it’s perfect. Bike hire and trekking close by

Ein wunderbares Fleckchen Erde in einer landschaftlich tollen Umgebung. Das Ferienhaus an sich ist klein, aber ausreichend und befindet sich in der unteren Etage eines alten Bauernhauses. Wir wurden vom Besitzer sehr herzlich empfangen und über das Grundstück geführt. Der Einrichtungsstil des Hauses ist sehr individuell, für uns ein wenig zu viel, aber das ist sicherlich Geschmacksache. Zur Außenanlagen gehören eine Whirlpool, ein Pool, zwei große überdachte Terrassen und riesige Gartenflächen. Es ist ein wirkliches Paradies. Einziges Mancko: das Bett ist zu klein für zwei Personen. Dadurch dass auch die Matratze noch zu weich war, trifft man sich als Paar immer in der Mitte des Betts. Erholsamer Schlaf war daher nicht wirklich möglich. Ansonsten ein phantastischer Aufenthalt.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Fred, die prima Engels kon spreken. Na een korte rondleiding door het huis en de grote tuin, hebben we even gezellig kennis gemaakt onder het genot van een verfrissend drankje. Er werd ons duidelijk gemaakt dat Fred 's ochtends rond 8.00 uur even het zwembad zou verzorgen en dan zou het zwembad, jacuzzi en BBQ gedeelte van de tuin ons privé gebied zijn. Via Whatsapp konden altijd rekenen op een snel antwoord van Fred en wilde hij graag voor ons iets uitzoeken. Er was geen airco, maar dankzij de dikke muren, houten luiken en vele bomen was de temperatuur in huis oke en hebben we prima geslapen. Fred, bedankt voor een paar fijne dagen.
