"This was the perfect stop for our trip from El Paso to Dallas. A great easy stop, right on I20. Room on first floor was good to walk our dogs. Very dog friendly! Excellent breakfast! Clean room, fridge came in handy. Will stay here again!"

"The Settles is pretty awesome, but the town in this area looks like it has fallen on hard times...Abandoned looking. Parking around the building leaves a lot to be desired. I was on the 3rd floor and it seemed like some very noisy hot rod type cars liked cruising around on the street in front of the hotel, and it sounded like the window was open in my room. There is a bus depot about a block away with some interesting looking folks hanging around. My room was really nice...furnishings and fixtures were very nice. One bedside lamp didn't work however, and one of the window curtains would not open. Gotta go to the basement for ice. "
