Redwood Park Wollombi

"Lovely accommodation in a quiet location with kangaroos hopping past. Close to Wollombi town. Room is very spacious and has almost everything you need, including pod coffee machine. Bed was very comfortable. Style is stylishly simple and suits the area/landscape. Was easy to find and plenty of parking. Air-conditioning and fireplace available there. Only things we would mention is that as it is located in the bush there are many little insects - which is to be expected.... however, with no screen on the sliding door, we were not able to leave it open to allow fresh air in. Soundproofing is so so - we could hear people talking in the next room - but muffled. There was basically no wifi for our entire stay (including the tv with streaming services) - we would try to access it and be able to search one page loading for about 10minutes - even using a simple weather app was not possible - was hard to even get an iMessage through to host. As there is no reception there - including anywhere within the area - it was inconvenient for us. Would also mention that whilst the bathroom is nice and spacious, there is literally nowhere to place your toiletries bag - had to put it on the kitchen bench.... bit odd."

"Peter was very hospitable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We even managed to get a little lost, and he kindly jumped into his Ute and guided us to the tiny home where we were staying. We were low on petrol and he went out of his way to get us petrol too! We absolutely loved the peace and serenity of the surrounding bushland. It’s such a beautiful, tranquil place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. We also loved that it’s pet friendly, which meant we could bring our two German Shepherds along with us. We had such a lovely stay and would happily come back again! "

"Knight's Ridge is an enchanting place! We were blessed with perfect weather during our weekend stay. The cabin is a dream! Just gorgeous & so warm, cosy & inviting. Every detail has been taken care of and we felt so loved and looked after during our stay. Alot of beauty and care has gone into this place. The grounds were stunning and so cared for and we loved our walks around the property. We all had a peaceful weekend together celebrating my husband's birthday. We loved exploring & met some very cute wombats! Our 2 dogs were so happy exploring & then sleeping in front of the fireplace. Thank you so much, we will be coming again & will highly recommend it to our friends & family Lara"
