"Overall the location of this property was excellent for exploring the city. The room was well maintained. My only complaints are: I didn’t get the extra towels I requested for my room. No biggie, there was quite a few people staying there so I’m sure they just didn’t have any spare. My other issue, while waiting in the lobby for the elevator with my daughter and husband, a staff member came out of the elevator and apparently I was blocking the staff door. Instead of saying excuse me she just yelled at me to “Move!” In a rude manner. Otherwise I had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend Homewood suites to anyone who wants a good place to stay!"

"I honestly loved staying here, if you are trying to stay in chicago on a budget, here is your place. Best place you are going to stay for the price. It is close to the city and lot of options to choose to eat. It has everything you need. Id recommend this place to anyone visiting chicago."

"The room did have a noticeable adhesive-like odor, similar to what I'd seen mentioned in another review. While it wasn't severe enough to ruin my stay, it was a little distracting. Guests who are sensitive to smells may find it bothersome. Despite that, I'm still giving 5 stars because I believe the hotel staff would have quickly resolved the issue by moving me to a different room if needed. I had just returned from the YE concert and was too tired to go through the process, so I decided to stay in the room. Overall, the staff and experience still deserved a positive rating."

"The staff at the front desk was so kind and friendly upon check in! The room was extremely clean and stocked, I would definitely stay here again in the future the staff was wonderful and the establishment is very well maintained. The free breakfast was also a 10/10, loved the touch of having a Chinese pastry in with the selection to honor the location of being in Chinatown!"
