The beds were comfortable and the mountains were beautiful. The property itself seems to be in neglect and needs some TLC. Overgrown flowerbeds, trash in the driveway and next to the house, and trees growing in the gutters. One oven and the two stovetops worked just fine, but the second oven didn't work, making it hard to cook for 20 people.

It was an average stay

We frequently stay at vacation rentals for family trips. This time, we decided to try Vrbo after being drawn in by the beautiful photos of this cabin. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and fell below expectations.To start, both the upper and lower decks were poorly maintained and had animal droppings, making them unusable for relaxation or family time. One of the two refrigerators in the kitchen had a strong, unpleasant fishy odor and was completely unusable throughout our stay. Additionally, the kitchen sink lacked a food disposer, which made cleanup inconvenient.Most concerning were the two basement bedrooms, where the AC vents were not functioning at all. As a result, these rooms were extremely humid with noticeably dusty air. This created a serious issue for a couple of family members who have allergies to dust and humidity, making it very uncomfortable, if not miserable, for them to sleep there.On a positive note, the check-in process was smooth, and the customer service team was responsive and courteous. However, these positives didn’t make up for the poor condition of the property itself. Sadly, this was not the kind of experience we were hoping for on our family vacation.
