Relaxing getaway
Perfect spot for one or two people to get away for a while. A very short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, but felt remote at the same time. The kitchen is a bit small with very little room for prep work, but the dining table is close enough to use for that purpose. As a chef, I'm glad I brought my own knives and such, but the kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils and cookware. There was some minor mold growth on the shower curtain, and the dryer's lint trap didn't look like it had been cleaned in ages (I didn't use the laundry facilities.) Being able to soak in the jacuzzi tub right next to the fire place in the living area was amazing! *Note* The wood burning fire place had a note by it saying it's not to be used between April 1st and ?(sometime in the fall.) Overall a wonderful time!

Was not what we wanted.
For one we had to meet the owner to get the key, never had to do that before. Then the shower curtain had mold all over it. The hot tub was a complete mess, the couch was ran down and old. What we saw and spent money on was all the cabins put into one add to make it look nice and up to date. Never again will we rent from Brently Honey moon log cabin. I have photos.

To begin with we do have a check in point. Not unusual. Most accomadation people do this. the sofa is lest than a year old. As far as cleanliness please read our past Reviews and ignore this one.

He doesnt check the VRBO calendar. He had communicated with me on the vrbo app and when i got there had no place for us to stay. Had to drive home due to no vacancy in Gatlinburg

Wonderful Getaway
I was in need of some serious down time and unwind from work and everything else. First of all the drive there was amazing, the beauty unmatched. When we went to check in we were met with a friendly smile, and plenty of information, we were able to find the cabin relatively easy. It felt so tucked away, but we were still so close to what ever we needed. It was so peaceful and quiet. Bring your seasoning’s and such for the kitchen, but wow this was so amazing. I will definitely go back. The owner even checked on us, customer service at its finest. Brent and family definitely have a repeat customer with me.

Great getaway.
My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay. The road is excellent, it is near attractions, and it is in a quiet area. My only suggestion would be to stock the cabin with basic kitchen necessities like dish towels, salt, etc.

We did not know the heat wasn’t working until later. Maintenance was pulled and is working properly. A breaker had gone bad. A easy fix. I wish you had mentioned it while you were here. Sorry for the inconvenience. Brent Huskey

Roughing it!
Cabin was as advertised cheapest stay and you pay for what you get. Cabin has no view not very well maintained . Wall insulation was showing through in several spots including all along kitchen countertop. Heavy dust on bathroom vent that didn’t even have a cover over the light. Canon is not good for people with asthma. Like I said we paid a cheap price and paid for what we got.

The cabin location was great. The furniture was outdated, the toilet made loud noises when flushed the entire trip, there was a crack in the floor by the hot tub (made you think you were going to fall in), and the TV was too small to enjoy.

Very exaggerated. The noisy made by the toilet was made by air in the lines. Can not even hear it outside the bathroom. The crack in the flooring is just that. A crack in one board about a inch.. Not broken. We have had a new piece of flooring ordered. for some time. The way building materials are really don’t know when we will get it. The TV is a 21 inch. For the room size it is just fine. All furniture was replaced less than two years ago including the bed.. . zIf anyone takes time to read this review please read all the previous reviews before making a decision. Brent Huskey Owner

The place was great. Simple and perfect for my husband and I. Even loved being up on top of the mountain. However, warning to renters, if it's snowy, the drive way is very very steep. We had to hike up it because our suv was not able to make it because of the froze over snow. Absolutely would rent again.

This was a great trip. The property manager responds to any questions quickly, and will work with you for late check-ins. The location was not to close to the bustle of Downtown Gatlinburg, but you could be there in just a few minutes. Gave you the feel of being away from it all while it was right around the corner. Really allows you to be as involved as you want with out having to travel a lot. My wife enjoyed, we would stay there again, be it for a weekend or two weeks. Thank you

Dilapidated and stressful
There were several things that made our stay here bad. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we were looking for a cozy -quiet cabin. We got a cabin that was over run with squirrels. They ran up and down the walls. They made so much noise that we got very little sleep. It sounded like they were storing their food in the walls. It was VERY stressful!! Then the cabin itself needed repair. The tub had been broke prior and it looked like they tried to patch it but it felt very weak in that spot and we were afraid to use it. The bathroom sink had bad water damage down the side. The kitchen cupboard looked like it was falling off the wall. The couch was wobbly and so was the coffee table.We never tried the jacuzzi tub. All in all it was the worst cabin I have ever stayed in and definitely a very stressful stay.We would not stay here again.

Bless you April for staying in my run down cabin situated in a jungle of animals. I am so glad you did not try the shower that had a small hole repaired with fiberglass patch the size of a half dollar. Could of ended up wherever. China? The old wobbly couch has only been there 6 months. Evidently I bought a peace of junk. I am so glad the kitchen cabinets did not fall off the wall and crush you. Great little cabin!
We needed a place to stay for a soccer tournament at Rocky Top. The cabin was great. Very clean. Convenient location. Check in and out was a breeze and the host was extremely nice and always available if you have questions. Would highly recommend.
