Family time in the mountains

We had a great time at The Big Easy. We had 12 people and everyone was able to sleep comfortably and complimented the comfiness of the beds. It was only a short drive to Gatlinburg where we were able to spend the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice lodge in good location

The property was exactly as advertised. We had a large family gathering which the house accommodated perfectly. I liked the location, which was close enough to downtown gatlinburg while feeling secluded from the crowds. We had at least 4 bear airings on our property during our week long stay, adding an element of fun for the family. I would recommend this place to others.

Great time!

My family and I had a great time staying at the Big Easy. Great location. Plenty of space in the house. The area was amazing. We loved seeing the daily black bear visits! (while being cautious not to disrupt them and we stayed inside). I highly recommend the property. No major issues or complaints.

Great cabin for our family

We had 7 adults and 4 children (10, 8, 5, and 1). We had a great time just hanging out at the cabin. Sleeping arrangements were good and the children enjoyed the nice bunk beds. We appreciated the provided high chair. It is convenient to the swimming pool; you can walk but it is a good uphill on the return.

The Big Easy was a wonderful place for our family of 13. We had room to spend time together but also spread out when needed. The 3 decks were wonderful! The kids loved the games available. We were there seven days and saw bears six of the days. It was a wonderful experience.

Rocky Top Tournament

We brought our team to a tournament. It was a great place for teens to hangout and close to Rocky Top Sports World to go back and forth between games. The property was clean, well stocked with all the necessities and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

The house definitely accommodated 8 adults and one child very comfortably. The property owner was very responsive when we communicated with her. The house had what we needed but definitely needs a deep clean, and maintenance. It served our purpose for the week and was very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Our family had a great time.

Short family vacation

We had a wonderful experience at the Big Easy cabin. The place was very clean, spacious & homely. We also loved the location & the cleanliness. The kitchen had every utensil & appliances that we could think of. The linens were very clean. Loved everything about this cabin. We’ll definitely rent this place again if we ever decide to go back to Gatlinburg.

Minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, short car ride to Pigeon Forge. Cabin was cute and everything worked. Literal bear encounter on our first day! Any issues we had were quickly addressed. Highly recommend this place for any large groups (we had 14 total - 1 infant, 3 kids, 2 teenagers, 8 adults).

We all had an amazing time in Gatlinburg. The house had everything we needed. Main floor could use more comfortable seating in living area and especially at the dining table. Beds are soft and comfortable. House is clean and spacious.

A perfect spot

The Big Easy was perfect for our family group of ten. There was room for everyone to stretch out, plenty of indoor activities in the game room basement, a huge dining room table where we could eat together and play games. The beds were so comfortable and the linens cozy. The bonus (for us) was the bear who checked out the trash bin and moved on into the trees. It was easy to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We highly recommend.

Comfy cabin with great views

The Big Easy met all our expectations! It was very clean and spacious with enough room for everyone! Loved that there was room for all of us to sit together for meals and that there was more than one living space to relax in after a long day of exploring. The location was perfect for getting to and from downtown. The icemaker did not work and we struggled accessing the cable but they were minor issues that didn’t impact our stay.

Spring Break 25

We had a great time at The Big Easy! Very clean cabin with lots of room and lovely porches! We loved the location, it was very easy to get down to the strip in Gatlinburg or hop over to Pigeon Forge. The hot tub was lovely, kitchen was stocked nicely with pots, pans, knives, etc. the beds were super comfortable and we all slept great!! A few items that didn’t live up to the hype or maybe just need a little attention: the basement TV appeared like the screen was beginning to go out (dark spot over half of the screen), the pacman machines screen also seemed like it was on its way out, the pool cues need new tips, one of the washers was dirty and had an awful smell, the chairs at the dining room table were beautiful but very uncomfortable. We like to play cards so sitting at the table was not as enjoyable as we had hoped.

Adorable Cabin

This cabin is adorable. It’s a great location-close to Gatlinburg national park for hiking. We had 4 couples. Everyone got their own bedroom with king bed and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked; plenty of dishes, utensils and pots/pans. We saw 6 bears in the 3 days we were there. Had a hard time getting answers from the host but they finally responded.

Girls trip!

We rented this cabin for a long weekend girls trip, it comfortably slept 8 of us with additional beds throughout (2 queen bunks in loft, additional day bed on 1st floor) The cabin was very well equipped and less that 15 minutes from the strip in Gatlinburg, the closest store was only minutes away. The setting was perfect as other cabins are around but there’s a lot of woods and foliage to give you privacy. I was concerned about the size from the front of the cabin, but when you walk in you are pleasantly surprised as the cabin is HUGE! Decks on all 3 floors with rocking chairs on each. We will definitely be renting this place again!

Clean spacious cabin

We had 14 of us. 6 adults and 8 Kiddos. Plenty of space for all of us. The house was in a wonderful location and had everything you needed for your stay. We enjoyed seeing the bears the most. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean and even had shampoo conditioner and soap. The family enjoyed the hot tub and we were super Thankful for two sets of washers and dryers. They even provided laundry detergent. Everything was. Very thoughtful. We will stay here again.
