Mountain Cove - Mid May Vacation

Owner had lots of necessities already there when we arrived. Cute decor and beds were super comfy. Beautiful views on the drive up to the cabin and an awesome bear sighting one night just before dark. Loved our stay!

Cozy mountain cabin

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We found the drive in on Wiley Oakley Drive to be way simpler, and has some really neat views. I highly recommend taking a scenic detour on one of your trips up or down on Piney Butt Loop. Wiley Oakley Drive is a lot of twists, but it’s one road until you get to Twin Oaks Rd. The cabin was very clean and tidy. We did not see any bears near the cabin during our stay, but saw a couple on our drive up to the cabin on the first day. If you are staying in the area, we recommend Smoky Mountain Llama Treks as a fun activity nearby (ish).

Comfy and cozy

Beautiful place. Had everything you needed for your stay. Had snacks waiting. Christmas decorations were beautiful. Hostess was very nice. Very clean and great area. Only downfall was that we had neighbors that kept chasing the bears so we didn’t see any. Was disappointed because we had seen a lot of bears at the last place we stayed at. I guess if you want to see bears, make sure you stay at a place that doesn’t have neighbors. They would stand outside all night long and yell at the bears. Was so annoying. Other than that, enjoyed our stay in the cabin.

Great Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It was just as pictured, and clean. It was also well stocked, and the amenities (snacks) were very much appreciated. Saw a bear in the tree off the second level deck only an hour after arrival! We saw and did a lot, and the trolley at the foot of the mountain was a good way to go into Gatlinburg. We also enjoyed the pools, although they were a little tricky to get to. The host was responsive, and we would definitely recommend this cabin.
