“this Jacobs creek retreet is nothing to do with the wine Jacobs creek. the hotel is located quite far from the major road. room is relatively small. because the houses are very old, and close to the garden. there would have worms on the room floor. barth room is quite dark, though there is a bath tub. garden is very nice. owner is an old couple. “Really enjoyed our stay at The Louise. The staff there was very attentive and friendly during our 2-night stay there. They always had a smile and made it a truly comfortable experience. The restaurant Appellation had the most amazing and unobstructed view of the vineyards. We found it very relaxing to watch sunset every evening as we dined there. ”

“The room was very clean and cosy.The only issue was the hot water service. It ran hot, then cold. The hot water ran out when having a shower the first night. I informed the staff, and they told me maintenance will have a look at the problem. In the morning the hot water ran out again. We had to turn off the hot water, then turn it back on again, it came back on, but we had very quick showers. “Barossa House suited us perfectly ! It was a short drive to everything we wanted to see snd do .. The Hosts were both welcoming and very nice ,we enjoyed their company. It was a lovely stay. Our room was nice , although a few stairs. We would recommend a visit for sure. ”

“Well stocked with good quality products from toiletries to coffee/tea breakfast supplies even a 1lt. juice and milk. The only minor negative, no drinking water supplied for taking medication or middle of the night drink when you get up with a thirst . They also offered a cheaper night extra stay and a later checkout which was great.”

“Beautiful area to stay and the glamping was great. The tent was spacious and the bathroom and kitchen just right. It has everything you need and they include all the little things you might need. (Our bathroom door did not close but not material). I think the comms could be improved a bit (we couldn't unlock the trolleys but too late to fix and a map would help) and the multiple wotif emails to provide access codes etc was a bit confusing but that is just feedback for parties.
