"Location was great! Very convenient to trains and shopping. One stop from Vieux Lyon! Great staff at the reception desk. Nice room, though pretty cramped for 3 people. Beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff were friendly but not very thorough when it came to refilling soaps. No shampoo or conditioner provided (must bring your own), and had to ask twice for the body wash to be refilled. Fresh towels daily was nice. The elevator leaves a lot to be desired. Maximum two people (per signage), which is difficult when you have 3 people and luggage. Old school room key with a very heavy keychain attached for some reason. "

"This hotel is close to the tram stop which was very convenient. The hotel looks newer and that is reflected in the rooms. The room was large for three people. Everything looked clean. Breakfast was extensive! There was coconut yogurt and almond milk for those that don't eat dairy."

"Previously stayed here for 2 weeks and returned based on previous experience. However this time was very disappointing, the hotel restaurant was closed every night, a large party were in the bar for a ‘private’ function every evening and breakfast was like a swam of locusts had visited - nothing left !! The breakfast staff replaced some of the missing food, I had to ask for scrambled eggs one morning as there wasn’t any left. I would rather have been informed of a large booking and that the restaurant would be closed and would have chosen to stay somewhere else. Checking out I was charged €50 for breakfast which seems expensive for what I was able to eat - Based on this in future I would look for an alternative hotel."

"The staff is what makes this hotel a great place to stay. Professional and friendly are the best descriptors for them. The hotel also has a very good location. Don’t let the facade of the building put you off as this is a very nice place to stay while in Lyon."
