Such a beautiful traditional place to stay in a great location. The two gentlemen running this place couldn’t have been nicer. For €15 extra they allowed a pre-arranged late check in at 00:40am. They recommended some great places to try local food. Breakfast every morning was brought to my room. I booked a single room as I’m a solo traveller and it was perfect for my needs.

We stayed two nights at this hotel in June. The location is very convenient, about 10 minutes walk from the train station and easy to find. The room was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. He spoke to the cell phone and translated to English, so we had no issues understanding each other. They left the breakfast in our room and carefully covered the drinks since we went out early. The price was reasonable. We will come back if we visit the city again.

It is unbelievable that such a good albergo can exist for this friendly rate. Helpful reception and close by railway station. Of course, do not expect great views from the windows, but it was a great plus to have everything to make coffee and tea in the room, and have a fridge

The excellent thing with the hotel is the service. Very welcoming from when i checked in until i checked out. Room was clean and there was a fridge, safe and kettle. A little oddity was my bathroom was accross the corridor. The hotel is conveniently located for train station and also a short walk to the main Genoa attractions. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and although basic it does the job and sets you up for the day

The rooms are small and the hotel sits on a hill where one cannot take a taxi to. One must walk up or down from the hotel. This means you better be in shape. The street is somewhat noisy even during the night. One thing nice was the church bell ringing at 7:30 in the morning for us to get up to. The hotel is also very close to the Railway station which was important for us. The breakfast was just coffee and rolls.
