From there it is a short walk to the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Palazzo Ducale and Via Garibaldi, a Unesco World Heritage Site, along which it is possible to visit historical palaces, museums and residences of ancient Genoese noble families. About 1 km away is Corso Italia, the seaside promenade that reaches the small inlet of Boccadasse, which still retains the charm of the old fishing village.
