「I recently stayed at the Royal International Hotel in Georgetown. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there were several issues that future guests should be aware of.
The hotel itself is modern and is attached to a mall with restaurants, shops, a casino, and a gym, which is very convenient. Most of the staff I encountered were polite and tried to be helpful.

「Staff/service was very slow.
There was no hot water running in our room. The entire stay went by and we were having cold showers. There is no kettle in the room, so you can not get boiling water for a tea or coffee after 10 pm. The coffee machine was not working in our room. The safe wasn’t working when we first arrived; shortly after, the engineer arrived and fixed it- so we were able to use the safe in the room during our stay. There was a broken piece in the shower stall. The toilet clogged...
