“The front desk staff were very friendly. The room offered bigger space than expectations. The whole experience would be better if there is an available free parking lot.”

“Very polite staff in a well-maintained historical building. Excellent pub restaurant on site.”

“Great hotel right in the town of Gettysburg —close to all the action. Very nice lobby that offered free Gettysburg posters and free apple sauce made in the farms nearby . Breakfast is satisfying . Parking is easy . Staff was kind and helpful —giving recommendations on where to go and housekeeping had extra pillows . Comfortable bed and temperature in room . Recommend highly to stay here when visiting historic Gettysburg .”

“had 1st floor room, convenient for unloading car. able to walk many places in historical district, right across from bus tours. problem was not able to do laundry as facilities were not working”

“A very laid back B&B with a great, authentic Gettysburg vibe. The staff was extremely kind and helpful the very few times I needed them. I struggled with the front door code, not sure if that was completely on my end or if the mechanism needs updated. Definitely planning another visit in the future.”

“Great location. Everything from room, staff and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend staying here.”

“The staff was excellent and the breakfast was extremely well stocked and delicious. The rooms are a little dated but cleaning staff was very good.”

“Had a wonderful stay. The staff answered questions immediately! The place has everything you need…LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!”

Laura and Ron were delightful hosts and their wealth of knowledge and passion for local history made the stay that much better, Expect a filling home cooked breakfast every morning by Laura (while in period costume). She leaves snacks and drinks in the sun room for guests to enjoy. Ron did much of the restoration work himself to the mansion. He kept the historical vibe while……

“Great location!”

“My stay at Colton Motel was mixed. The room was very clean — the bed linens, towels, bathroom, and floors were all spotless, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful. The parking is very easy and the location is walkable and convenient. However, I found the price to be higher than expected for what is offered. The room lacked basic amenities such as seating, and the bed pillows were uncomfortable. Additionally, the heater was not functioning properly, requiring the use of a provided blanket……

“The location was amazing. Restaurants and shops walkable toward Cemetery Hill and to downtown. Parking was easy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog.”

“There was a bus load of senior citizens who were very loud and some were even a little unruly. The lady who was responsible for providing the breakfast was very accommodating, friendly and helpful despite the anxiousness these people caused.”

“Loved this place! Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Such a homey and cozy spot! Loved sitting on the porch and relaxing.”

“The room was clean and the staff was friendly. A good budget stay in the area, especially if you’re traveling with pets”
