This is a scam. Beware. Took my money then said they were overbooked. Never refunded me and told vrbo that my stay happenned as planned

Absolutely do not book this accommodation. After having a confirmed reservation, I notified the host that I was arriving. The host replied that the booking was cancelled due to overbooking. However, the host did not properly process the cancellation, so it took me several attempts to get this resolved through a VRBO agent so I could get my money refunded. The lack of advance notice from the host also meant that I had to urgently book another accommodation after arriving at the destination, and the options at that point were quite limited.
