"This was a wonderful base for exploring Munich. Grünwald is not in the city center but it is a lovely and quiet area that makes the travel time well worthwhile. It also has some good restaurant options (we love Kritamos). This apartment was perfect for our needs - it was even more spacious and nicely appointed than it seemed in the listing. The hosts were terrific - quick to respond, very welcoming and hospitable, and even offered to drive us to the tram stop with our luggage upon our departure....

The hotel itself is well appointed but the area around the central railway is not the nicest (not the hotel’s fault!). However, it is brilliantly located for access to the city centre and airport.
