Great Getaway!

We booked this wonderful home for our family (and pooch) based on the location and proximity to all of Laconia's attractions. The home was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and made for a perfect week away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was perfect.

Vacation at the Lake, New Hampshire

The House was beautiful and felt very homie and comfortable. Near the local beaches and easy to get around the area. Loved it!!

Convenient location in quiet lakeside community

Overall we had an amazing stay. The house was a beautiful post and beam family home great for one larger family or two small families. It was clean and pet friendly and had all the basic kitchen equipment and supplies you need. The large deck was great for eating outside. The location in Gilford is extremely convenient to grocery stores, butcher, bagel shop, Weirs Beach, and several marinas. However, the house did not really offer lake views to speak of (at least in the summer). They are also clearing a lot right behind the property so there were a lot of chainsaws early in the morning (7am) and they were burning brush so it was very smokey. In addition, we found out that Gilford passed an ordinance last year that only residents can use the beaches so although there is a beach in walking distance, we could not use it. Having said that, we would definitely rent this home again and would recommend it to others.
