“The hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel at home and very welcome. The hotel was lovely, quiet, with proper fires and excellent Chesterfields to relax and chat on. The selection at the small bar was very good, I enjoy a good whisky when relaxing and they had a good selection. Our room was a good size, just right for us, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm. “I had a fantastic stay at The Bridges B&B. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly, which was lovely for someone, like me, travelling alone.
The room was spotless with little touches such as different types of tea on offer and a chocolate treat on the bedside table. Breakfast was lovely too.
It was a perfect location to explore the wonderful Northumberland area.”

“This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area.
We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been.
The rooms were warm and clean, and had been newly decorated, the bedding was clean and crisp.
The breakfast was adequate, all self serve, tea, coffee, juices, cereals, packet meats and pastries.
