“Great experience - we loved it! We had 13 adults and two infants at Shelburne Lodge for a family reunion in July. We found this to be a great location for day trips across southwestern Ireland - and only about 500 yards down the sidewalk to the downtown pubs and shops of Kenmare. It is also convenient to grocery stores and a pharmacy. The lodge is a remarkable historic structure, accurately depicted in the photos on the VRBO website. “Knock Carrig house was simply amazing. A large group of us stayed for a week with three children and this house provided ample space for them to run around outside, playing and looking at the cows. Inside we had more than enough rooms for all of us to sleep in and what a treat to have a bathroom in each room!!
