Bathroom could use detailed cleaning. Too much hair left behind. Housekeeping staff too loud outside room speaking among themselves or on the phone. Hallway floors made of wood so you can hear all footsteps and roll baggage going by. Hotel location is good and the price is fair.

The decoration is very nice, which leads you to believe there to be a high level of polish and staff hospitality. Don't be fooled. The staff are very middling. I asked about late check-out, was told to call the office in the morning as "Only the morning team can do that." Guess what? Called in the morning and was told "We are not allowed to do this." Such great staff.

We stayed in room 305 (Riverview) for our wedding anniversary. Every detail was exquisite. The bed was comfy, the room spacious, clean and beautiful. Front desk (Estaban) was super helpful. Thanl you for an amazing visit!!

Convenient location when traveling by train. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was charming and clean. We loved having a coffee shop right in the hotel, and several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Great hotel! Clean and spacious rooms. Robes in the rooms are SO nice. Our Room was advertised as “multiple beds”. But it was just a king bed and a small pull out sofa bed and VERY uncomfortable. But other than that I rate 5 stars!

River view room was way smaller than expected, plus there isnt a river view withh the train station in the way, dont let that fool you... The staff was friendly even with our obnoxious pet. But overall a decent stay. Great walking distance to many good restaurants, and a good central location

This is my 2nd stay at the property and it’s my new favorite hotel in Glenwood. I will say however that this time around I opted for the cheapest room available and I won’t be doing that again. I get that it’s the cheapest room available on the property but the window was made up of stained glass and it was bolted shut. Pretty absurd really and it gave a bit of a claustrophobic feel. I don’t care if the view stinks, I just want to open my window or at least be able to see out of it. Regardless, I’ll be going back but upgrading my room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Maxwell Anderson. Our room was in the new area, and very spacious. The bed and bedding was clean and comfortable, which is very important to me. Wyld Coffee Shop on the first floor is a definite plus. Parking is half a block offsite, but it was easily accessible, although it would be nice if elders could request valet parking in bad weather. We'll definitely stay here again.
