Gorgeous New Home w/ Ocean Views- 2 Private Beaches Steps Away

THE HOME: This house was built in 2018 with every modern amenity and comfort for vacation life. Vaulted ceilings in the great room, chef’s kitchen with two sinks, air conditioning, high speed internet, Weber gas grill, even a wine refrigerator! Home boasts two separate family rooms with large screen SmartTV’s for upstairs downstairs movie watching and relaxation - expansive deck overlooking entirety of the Ipswich Bay. The house is completely powered by SOLAR panels (with backup to the electric grid).

Upstairs has two bedrooms: master suite, king bed, with full bath and walk-in closet. Small bedroom or office, daybed with trundle, across the hall from half bath and laundry room. Great room includes the kitchen, island, dining area, and a living space with game area and SmartTV with Comcast Xfinity and access to Hulu/Netflix/Amazon streaming services… All with expansive 180 degree views of the Bay (somewhat limited by trees in the summer months).

Downstairs has two bedrooms: a second master suite, king bed, with full bath and walk in closet. Second bedroom “Bunk Room” has two bunk beds (both twin over full size mattresses!), walk in closet and full bath with tub for bathing the kids. The downstairs family room also has a living area with 55” Flat screen SmartTV with same access as upstairs. Pack&Play, toys and games are also available on site.

EXTERIOR: The deck and master bedroom upstairs bedrooms have stunning water views; minimal trees obstruct but provide comfortable shade for relaxation and summer enjoyment.

50 yards away are two completely private, quiet, beaches that are shared with the estate. One is soft white sand (for high tide), one is expansive soft grey sand (for low tide). Two tennis courts are also shared with the estate and available for use, as well as a full children’s playground with slides, swings, and shade for wearing out the little ones!

An exceptional spot for families (especially young children) who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowds, for private kayak/paddle boarding in the cool Ipswich Bay! Bring your own sporting gear (Ipswich Bay is fabulous for water sports) – maybe even catch a fish. 2 adult stand up paddle board, 1 medium size kayak and 2 kid's kayaks are available for use at the house. House has a heated outdoor shower and hose for washing off sand.

THE AREA: Charming/Historic Downtown Gloucester is just a 10 min drive (4 miles). There are whale watching, fishing trips, lots of great seafood restaurants, famous bars, and fun downtown markets!

Down the road there are stunning public quarries. Warm for swimming and beautiful for hiking!

The famous Market Restaurant is 1 mile walk, in Annisquam… Make sure you call for reservations, books up weeks in advance!

Beautiful Weekend

We came in for the marathon and wanted to stay closer to the water and away from the city to try something different. This house was absolutely perfect for a family. With 4 bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen with everything you need, and a view of the Ocean you couldn't ask for anything better. Simply Wonderful! One of the Best!

Great house; great location. Our week-long stay to visit family over Christmas was almost perfect. We are particular about the properties we select and this home did not disappoint. The location was convenient with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed taking walks throughout the property and along the shoreline. The home was spacious and had a great layout. Amazing Location and Spacious Accommodations

We rented this property for our family for our son's wedding. You have a view of the water and the sunlight streams in. It is absolutely beautiful. There is a large outdoor deck, perfect for the outside living we love. The space was perfect for our two families plus my mom. We didn't get a chance to use all the extras (kayaks, tennis courts, etc.), but we would love to come back sometime and do so. Meakin was very responsive to the few requests we had. We definitely recommend this beautiful spot!

Gorgeous Views, Lovely Home

We were so happy to find this property for 7 of us to stay in while visiting Gloucester for a wedding! The view of Ipswich Bay from the great room was fantastic, and we loved the open floor plan for the kitchen/dining/great room so we could all hang out together. The 3 full bathrooms were excellent and much needed for 7 adults to get ready to attend a wedding. Highly recommended for those visiting Gloucester, MA in the future!

Great house for anyone looking for easy beach access, gorgeous sunset views. Comfortable outdoor porch, great for relaxing and outdoor meals. Kayaks and water toys were a big hit with our kids and very easy to launch from the private beach. Thanks to the host for sharing this family property.

Excellent Beach house

Haze Gray was a perfect house for our family of active adults and small children. The private beach is less than a 5 min walk with small waves and great sand castle- building space. Lovely walking paths nearby with magnificent views. Sunset views from the deck were a treat. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with all tools for cooking and grilling. Loved it!

Perfect for families

Family Trip

Haze Gray is a spacious and well appointed home. We were a party of 8 and had ample room. Evenings were spent enjoying the gorgeous sunsets and listening to the bull frogs from the fresh water pond. Our older boys were thrilled to have bunk beds and there were two pack and plays and a high chair seat that were very handy to have with our youngest. We loved taking the kayaks out and exploring the two private beaches that were just yards from the house. This was a perfect retreat for our family. Thank you for sharing Haze Gray! We hope to return next year!

Winter stay on the NorthShore

We spent 16 nights in December at this wonderful property. The layout and functionality are ideal for larger groups. We were celebrating our first grandson with extended family members from NC, AZ and Scotland and this home was the perfect spot. Plenty of room to be together or get away on your own. Little things like the heating system and hot water ran perfectly. Kitchen had all the appliances/dish & drink wear needed and was very functional. Location in Gloucester MA also a big plus! We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful views of ocean from both inside and outside

We rented for the week with our friends. The check in/out process was seemless. The house is well appointed and laid out nicely. The views were breathtaking from all rooms in the house as well as the porch. We spent mornings and evenings on the porch. Next time we will use the paddle boards on the water.

Relaxing and beautiful

We rented this house for 2 weeks and would stay for 2 more if we could! The house is only a couple of years old, very pretty and comfortable and just like the photos. We sat on the deck watching the view (and stunning sunsets!), having drinks and barbecues, and went to the beach every day, and explored the coastline in kayaks. Everything is convenient, so anyone in our group could go to the beach without having to coordinate with others, able to come back to the house to get a snack, etc. We have rented many houses over the years, and this is the first one I really want to come back to!

Haze Grey came as advertised. Ocean views in a quiet setting. We had plenty of room for two couples and one in-law. With two master suites there was sufficient privacy and bathrooms for all including the 1/2 bath just off the main living area so even guests, if any, could be accommodated. Delightful property and estate

We loved our stay here. It was a long weekend in-state getaway on a very warm weekend to celebrate my husband's retirement. Some in our small group did remote work with the water and sunset as a backdrop. Although we've lived in MA for decades we've never explored this area in depth. We loved everything about it. The house was clean and comfortable and new. The kitchen was very large. The beds were comfortable. The views, spectacular. The check-in process and communication with the owner was simple and prompt. It was the perfect pandemic trip for us. We highly recommend this house. We loved climbing on the rocks and exploring the property. We had a picnic lunch down by the water. We loved exploring Halibut Point SP just minutes down the road. We went to Gloucester and Coolidge Reservation. Spent a day at the Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island. Just so much to do on the property and nearby.
