"I regard this Hotel as one of the Great Hotels of the World. We stayed in the Heritage section of the Hotel and the room was large and tastefully furnished. We loved the Heritage Style of everything about the Hotel. The staff were very helpful for anything that we needed. Good location in the CBD for our needs. "

"The location was perfect, could walk to the Rocks, Darling Harbour and the Botanic Gardens quite easily. All the staff were wonderful and we felt spoilt with their care. The Spa was also great. Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay here. "

"Not a 5* experience at all. Drove up and the man on reception said we had to move the car immediately, meaning we’d have to drag our large suitcases and multiple bags a long distance after hours of travelling. Furthermore, the parking was $77 a night, which is extremely expensive. Then after having to take all our bags such a way, there was no concierge and we had to struggle to take all the luggage to the room. Spa facilities were small and became cramped quickly. Sauna did not work at all. Left a very sour taste and would not recommend this hotel to anyone if you are looking for a decent / 5* star experience."

"The hotel met all of our expectations and more. All the staff were very friendly and polite. The food was good. The rooms were spacious and clean. And let’s be honest, you can not beat the harbour view. It didn’t matter what time it was, day or night, the view was just amazing. The next time we are in Sydney, we will be staying here again. "

"The room was clean but tired, the bathroom grout has mould and needs a good scrub. The floorboards in an old building creak and squeak and sleep quality on a Saturday night when an always difficult. Oh well, I eventually slept but probably won’t book again in a hurry as there is better value and sleep quality elsewhere. "
