"What a sweet place and a far cry from cookie-cutter low end motels. Beautiful location, nice rooms, and a very nice restaurant on premises. The motel is a project of a recovery program called Teen Challenge so it's a bonus to support them but the motel stands on its own as a 'find' off Highway 80. Highly recommended"

"The person checking in guests was efficient and helpful. This is in contrast to many properties recently, including those now using remote check-in staff causing slower and longer checkins. By contrast, checking at Red Lion Inn & Suites Auburn was fast and friendly. The room was larger than most comparably-priced motels. Room was clean and well-maintained. But the biggest and much appreciated surprise -- even though their website stated they had only a "continental breakfast," this was a full complimentary breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, all kinds of cereal, extras like apple sauce, yogurt and of course coffee, tea etc. The breakfast alone was a good reason to stay here. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we will be back."

"The parking was a bit of a problem because of the number of large vehicles in the lot. Not something they can control now, but it would have been nice if that had been planned for when the motel was built. Otherwise it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and mostly quiet. The shower took a while to warm up, but did get to the lava hot I prefer. I’ll definitely give bonus points for the very soft and new looking towels. Overall we will stay here again."

"Diane was very nice and welcoming and accommodated all of our needs during our stay. The hot tub was the highlight for us, but we also enjoyed the fire pit and all the other things to do on the property. The house was very clean and there were plenty of spare sheets and towels if needed. We will definitely be coming back!"
