「We received a corner room, the thermostat didn't work, it didn't let us heat unless it was below 65F so the night was quite chilly. The important buttons on the remote didn't work so the TV was unavailable. We have stayed here before and the room we had the mattress was quite comfortable. This mattress was terrible, slanted, kept rolling to one side. Its cute to stay in a old hotel and we've had better experiences than this time. The room just wasnt up to standards to the price paid. ...

「The Norwood has a brand new hotel feel. I especially like the fact that it had a window in the room that could be opened - a rarity in modern hotels.
The bar and restaurant were also both excellent.」

「One of the worst booking experiences I have ever had! I booked Winnipeg Holiday through Expedia and paid approximately $137, expecting proper accommodation.
When I arrived at the location, I was shocked to find no hotel sign or banner. When I called the property, I was told that they provided private housing and that I had to wait until 1 PM to enter.
What happened next was even worse. When I contacted them again, the person told me, "Don't come here. We will not let you in. Request your...

「This property was listed as a hotel in the “hotels only” section and it isn’t one. It is somebody’s home. If you’re into staying at a place like that then go ahead and book it. Just be aware that all the photos do not even match the property. The bedrooms don’t look like some of the photos and it is a shared bathroom should there be any other guests staying there.」
