“Amazing views of water and sunsets. Nice pool (but too cold to use in April). Very good breakfast. Had 2 dinners in restaurant and they were excellent. Our room was small but had a nice balcony to watch sunsets from. A downside is that the walls aren’t very soundproof. Good location. Only 10-15 min walk to beach and tours. There is road construction by the Adeneau bus stop so you will have to use the temporary bus stop about 500m uphill from the hotel. The views, staff, and……

“The room has no air conditioning, and the temperature is quite uncomfortable. According to the front desk, they are not authorized to turn it on. How is one supposed to sleep when it is so hot in the room? This shows very poor judgment on the part of the hotel management.”

“An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants. The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous; we appreciated the range of fruits. Grace made us very welcome throughout our 3 day stay and was very helpful on practicalities like transport. “Was asked on arrival to block €200 on my credit card for any ‘extras’. I pointed out that there was no mention of this on my booking and in fact it clearly stated that any ‘extras’ would be invoiced at check out. The check in staff member, showed me that it stated this on another well known booking platform. I pointed out that I didn’t book using this platform, so his point was irrelevant. “Das Salini-Resort ist eine sehr schöne Anlage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber, es gab einen Kühlschrank für die eigenen Getränke und der Meerblick war toll. Es gab 2 tolle Outdoor-Pool und einen kleinen Indoor-Pool. Es gab eine leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Man konnte sich alle Eierspeisen bestellen und die Auswahl war sehr groß! Mittag- und Abendessen hatten wir nicht, aber der Italiener im Hotel war sehr gut! Für kleines Geld konnte man mit Uber……

“If it says balcony, it may not be what’s in the pics. Felt super deceived. But unless it specifically says city view or pool view you have the back overlooking pipes with the smell of grease coming up and a generator. Complained. Was told complaint was prioritised. Never heard from them again. Despite there being other available cheaper rooms with views available online. Under the bed was dirty. There was a hair in the shower and the fridge. Ants in the foyer. Broken sundeck chair. Didn’t……
