「In general, this place was way overpriced for what it offered. We were offered a water bottle upon check in, which we got to tote with our luggage to our room. For $325 per night, might they arrange to make water bottles standard for the room? The breakfast was okay, but very staff hands-off. How about a pitcher of cream for coffee instead of thimble sized plastic "cups"? The place felt secure, but I'm still not sure what we were paying for that made this place supposedly special.」

「Breakfast eggs were very dry and barely warm, sausages were also dry. Coffee was as good as paint remover. Beds seem to be hard every stay here. 」

「The room was nice but only had a space heater so it was pretty cold with snow still on thr ground...had a wall unit for a/c took about 15 20 mins for hot water in the shower an the floor was all tile so twice as cold ... had to buy some towels an a blanket . would i stay there again probably not , had some people fighting at like 1 am so that woke me up too, parking lot pretty small an no assigned parking had to park pretty far away from my room couldn't keep an eye on my car but it was alright 」

Toilet so low it looked like it belonged in a kindergarten . Should be updated and remodeled. Location lovely and close to town.」

「We arrived late to check in. Cabin was ready for us. It's a cute cabin and looked clean. When we woke up the next morning we noticed how many mouse dropping that we around the cabin. Everywhere. It was hard to enjoy the space after that. We packed up and left on Thanksgiving morning. We were due to checkout the next morning. 」

「We stayed in a yurt. It was very comfortable for three people. A bunk bed and one-man cot were provided. Bring your own bedding. (We liked the fact that it had a small fridge, coffee machine, heater, and fan. The designated grill for the yurt was a PLUS for cooking/grilling purposes. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. We appreciated the staff who took the extra care to keep them clean. They literally would scrub the showers daily. The WIFI in the LODGE was a great feature so you could...

「The room was somewhat clean, but there were a pair of mattresses right in front of the room, dirty and old with stains--I took pics---I had no choice but to check out within less than two hours and it was becuase I was no the phone with Expedia trying to book something else. I was charged for one night, even though the pics on the website look nothing like this old, falling-apart place. But never again. Driving out of the parking lot, I noticed there was nobody else. That was the worse...

「I had been wanting to stay at The Pines Inn and Cottages for some time, so I worried my expectations may be inflated - but I moved my bags in and never wanted to leave. 🌷 There are so many room details that make it easy to be away from home, the bed is so S-O-F-T, and the grounds are magic waiting to happen. It was lovely in early spring, but I can imagine what an amazing place the Inn grounds become later in the year. I cannot wait to reurn. 🍃」

「Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. 」
