「The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

「Great stay for our family! The property offered privacy in a quiet wooded area surrounded by nature. Check-in was effortless, the kitchen was stocked with all the needed plates and pots, wi-fi is available but rather slow, hot-tub was clean, and firewood was provided. The home was well maintained and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the daily visits from the family of deer. 」

「Lovely spot with friendly hosts. Comfortable bed, bath and we enjoyed viewing the animals from the porch while sipping coffee. We hope to be back again!」

「Beautiful setting to truly unwind, relax, and disconnect from the day to day busyness.」

「A great place, very clean and so well equipped, especially the kitchen. The beds are comfortable and have duvets with covers. Cozy! It was great to have a bathroom for each bedroom plus a half bath on the first floor. The house is in a good location, an easy walk to ‘downtown’ with good restaurants and interesting stores. Staunton is a nice town and good location to explore the Shenandoah Park. 」

「We loved our stay in this adorable cottage. It was very clean, comfortably furnished, had everything we needed and was in a great location. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch each morning looking towards to park. We would definitely stay there again! 」

「For those who want the convenience of walking around the downtown area, this is a great location. The space was clean, bright, easy to find, and secluded enough for privacy. The small outdoor deck was a quiet spot for morning coffee and news browsing. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had some bonus snack items.
