Great place to view the new aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth.
Lovely and peaceful on the moat. All the ducks, swans, coots and fish must be hiding. Lovely spot even when it isn't open. It's open one day a month and it's free.
There are some big fish in the moat who like to be fed bread. The exterior of the fort is open any time, interior currently opens 2nd Saturday of the month. Lots of wildlife around the fort moat.
