“The property itself is not on the beach. It’s across the street. The staff should be taught better on how to direct you. What seating on the beach accommodates the hotel. So here I’m gonna save you a whole lot of confusion. It’s Across The Street slightly to the right reflections beach club. Now let’s get to the seating area at the beach. Depending on cruise ships being around, they usually tell you all the seats are reserved. Hint hint give me a tip and I’ll find a seat for you. The beach……

“We had a great time. We were there for three weeks. The pool was beautiful warm and clean the properties. Very pretty many plantings everywhere. Even the animals hung around once in a while. We’re very friendly purring cat on your lap on vacation is kind of cool. Our host Barbara was very attentive to our needs and questions about Aruba. It was a quick half hour walk to town and the closest beaches. If you wanted to go farther, it was very easy to get a cab or jump on the Aruba bus. There are……

“Resort location. Size of resort and staff all excellent. ”

“My issue with this hotel is that the walls are very thin and you can hear the flags blowing and hitting the wall right by your door. We also booked a pool side room , but instead received a room up a flight of steps, no elevator. Expedia also stated that there was a bar on site, but that is not correct. The only food available is breakfast so even if you’re hanging out at the hotel for the day, you have no access to drinks, lunch or dinner unless you leave the facility. We had to leave due to an……

“When we come to Aruba we usually stay Marriott. This time we decided to try Joia. It’s a new hotel. But that’s where the good things stopped. If you come to the beach too early no umbrellas or chairs are put out. Usually they’re starting to do that after 8-8:30 am. Also, if you didn’t come early enough the staff puts towels on the chairs claiming it’s for members only. So if that’s the case it should be advertised as such hotel. For members of some club only. Apparently if you paid $1,000.00……

“The casitas and lobby staff are terrific. The hotel is such a nice special space that they made feel secluded even though it’s on the main road. Almost everyone who works there is lovely. The room was always cleaned wonderfully and the amenities by the pool are great. I would never stay anywhere else in Aruba again. ”

“Would definitely revisit! The birds are a problem when it comes to eating outside. The pool is beautifully maintained which is why it surprises me that they do not pay as much attention to deck and lounge chairs. We had to wipe bird dropping off of every lounge chairs we sat in. ”
