A treat...
Absolutely beautiful place. Stunning furniture on shiny wood floors. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with wonderful lake view. Walking distance to town square. Many thanks to a charming host.

I stayed in the Trenholm suite for 3 nights. I so enjoyed opening my door each morning to see a tray of fruit and pastries waiting for me. The coffee bar upstairs was a great touch. The house is beautiful!

Best sleep ever
Beautiful and clean, best space like home but better. Bed like sleeping on a cloud. No noise like in a hotel. Would make a honeymoon sweet perfectly. Close to a lot of stores, eaten places yet private with great views.

Great place-5 star!
We had a great time at the Captain’s House! It’s a very short walk to the town square and just what we were looking for! We stayed in the Captain’s Suite. It was comfortable, quiet, and extremely clean. Double sink in the bathroom, jacuzzi, large shower. Breakfast was great. Tina and Tony have done a wonderful job! We hope to be back soon!

Can't Wait to Return!
We absolutely loved our stay! The Inn & room were beautiful, and it was exceptionally clean. The hosts were very friendly & great with communication. The location was perfect for walking to the historic Granbury square, or sitting out back relaxing & enjoying the gorgeous lake view. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the Mary Kate suit. The room was quaint, historic, beautifully furnished, comfortable and fun. The private balcony over-looking the lake was the perfect setting to relax. The wicker sofa on the balcony was even so comfortable we sat looking at the lake much longer than we meant to. The hostess was friendly, welcoming, and informative when we arrived. We didn't see her again, but we didn't need to. She had everything set up for a wonderful easy stay. The next morning we found a beautiful tray had been set outside our door with fruit and chocolate croissants. The house was full the night we were there, but the set up was perfect and we only saw or heard other guests in passing. Its a short 2 block walk to the historic downtown Grandbury square for shopping and dinging. On a Thursday night several bands were playing at local restaurants and we easily found free entertainment that was relaxing and fun. I highly recommend staying with Tina and her family at the Captain's House!

Wonderful stay
I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations at the Captain's House On The Lake in Granbury, TX. Check-in was easy, all communications were handled professionally and promptly. The room was lovely and well furnished with plenty of areas for relaxing, as well as sleeping. There were double vanities in the restroom and the sheets were the softest!! Lastly, the views of the lake were very nice as well. I will definitely stay here again!

Captains House
A little peace of heaven. Wonderful view absolutely the best location and Tina was so sweet! You can walk all over Granbury and then come back and relax by her firepit and looke at that beautiful lake all evening.

Weekend getaway
We had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful property and everything was as it was described in the listing. We enjoyed walking to the square for shopping, lunch, and dinner. We loved fishing off the dock on the property also. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning and it was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Gracious Granbury visit.

Beautiful home! Relaxing atmosphere inside and out. The owner met us by name and made us feel very welcome. This home was a perfect way to treat my mother to for her birthday and we were just a short walk to the shops on the square. 100% recommend!

Charming Victorian Treasure
Just lovely home and my room was very comfy, beautiful and extremely clean. So very convenient to walk to the square. Gorgeous lake views. The hostess Tina was fabulous. Our stay was wonderful. The owners were so nice We will definitely stay there again. This was our first bed and breakfast stay. We always thought it would be like staying at grandmas house. This house was very elegant Not to cluttered. With a few antiques mixed with freshness.
