"The island is great, the location of the hotel also. There view is stunning! There are a lot of accommodations outside (pic bic table, 4 or 5 BBQ, a shower outside, a kitchen counter, you can really cook outside). In the room, It was clean but a little sticky. A full cleanup with TSP would correct that. The Owner is great! He loves the area, he provides great recommendations. We followed all his recommendations and we have great memories. "

"This property was located on the canal with access to fishing and crabbing. Nice porch area with a swing, bench and picnic area. Location was great! Nice accommodations and host was quick to respond with any answers to questions. Will rent again in the future!"

"This was the perfect house for our family. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you need to cook and boil seafood. We really enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the pier. "The property is in a great location opposite the main island. The sandbar was fun for the kids, and it was nice not having the traffic and busyness of the main island. House was clean and comfortable. We had 6 adults and two kids, and I think we needed something a little bigger for all of us. The washing machine was horrendous and needs to be fixed ASAP. We couldn't wash hardly anything without it banging. Railing outside on patio needs additional slats for child safety. All doors in house need...

"If you are wanting a beach vacation without having to deal with the crowds at the big tourist spots I highly recommend grand isle. The beach was pretty and most days there was only 1 or 2 other families. Christy was a pleasure to work with. She kept in touch and even gave us recommendations on where to shop and eat. There was 11 of us total and we had plenty of room."

"This property is huge! So much space to give everyone privacy, yet accommodating to bring everyone together for dining and entertainment, We loved the games and access to a big TV to watch our hometown basketball game! The access to the beach was a huge win! The walkway is right next to the house. The beds were super comfortable and each room is equipped with its own window a/c unit (in addition to the central air) We did a lot of cooking and were impressed with the cookware that was available....
