Perfect weekend getaway!

The cabin was warm and cozy. A perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The location was ideal, close enough to town but far away enough to feel secluded and private. Looking forward to going back!

Wonderful location and property

This was a lovely cabin and we loved the sweet neighborhood it was in and how close it was to Lake Grandby. Very clean throughout and liked the well stocked kitchen. We truly enjoyed the large deck and appreciated the locking gates to allow our 2 year old to roam around outside. Fantastic place to stay!

Wonderful stay

Loved everything about this cabin!!! It was close enough to town but was also quiet which is what we wanted. We could see lots of stars when sitting out by the fire. It fit our family of 5 just perfect. Hope to go back one day!

Perfect Ski Vacation!

We brought all 3 generations for quick 2days of skiing at Granby. The place was immaculate and we had no difficulties whatsoever.

Beautiful cabin in a great location

We were a group of 5 who stayed for 5 days. The cabin is beautiful and well appointed- it’s also perfectly located for visiting Rocky Mountain National park. Kevin was a great host- easily reachable and gives great advice on nearby places to see that only locals might otherwise know about. Definitely recommended!

Great Lake escape

Perfect middle ground between completely secluded wooded cabin and lake town spot. Great location, owner was super communicative, and it was exactly as described, with no surprises, reasonable check out process and timing, etc. A few older and dated accessories (uneven grill and no non-stick pans) but none inconvenienced us.

Perfect family house for relaxing and HQ for adventures

Our family stayed for 10 days in July and it was glorious. The location was super convenient to RMNP entrance and the town of Grand Lake, and we enjoyed just sitting on the lovely wrap around deck and enjoying the neighborhood. The house is also very well stocked and very lean & comfortable (shout out to the recliner sofas - we reclined almost every night of the Olympics!).

Family Fishing Trip

Meg was a great host! Property was just as advertised and perfect location for us to get to the lake. Beautiful, plenty of parking and room for our snowmobile trailer. Low traffic area and easy to get to. Will use again!

Great Cabin!

Kevin was an absolutely wonderful host! He made sure we knew what amenities were already at the cabin so we had less stuff to pack. He was also kind enough to send us a great hike nearby since he knew the area so well. The deck and the fire pit were so nice, and a great way to enjoy being outside.

Relaxing Retreat In The Woods

My friends and I came up for a short getaway. The house was the perfect little relaxing cabin for that. It was pretty rainy while we were there so we didn't get to use the firepit but the covered porch was perfect to drink coffee and watch the rain come down. Plenty of seating for movie watching and lots of space for us to read and nap. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Thank you, it was a great stay.

December Getaway

Our family had a great time staying for a winter break vacation! Cabin was cute and cozy. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and WiFi to watch football. The fooseball table and selection of games was a hit for our boys. There were also many activities close by to keep us busy. Rocky Mountain National Park snowy hikes, free ice skating on Grand Lake, snow tubing in Fraiser, Hot Sulfer Springs, & snowmobile rentals. Beds were all comfortable and kitchen fully stocked. Would for sure stay again!

Really enjoyed cabin and outside deck. The bear experience with the trash container was interesting. The basement was a bit musty with just the glass block windows that don't open. Overall we had a great stay.

Family getaway

First off, Kevin was a great host,he explained everything very well. The cabin was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. It was clean & basically everything you might need was supplied ( other then food ). It was so peaceful sitting outside, you hardly even heard much traffic in the background. We enjoyed listening to the Magpie's, chipmunks, squirrles & all the other wildlife while sitting on the deck.the cabin is perfectly situated to where it doesn't take long to get to Winter Park, Grand Lake or RMNP. If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax that's located close to all the sights & adventures that have a great host, this is as good as you can get.

Owner and home were wonderful

We had a great time. We were visited by a mama moose and her baby for a few nights of our stay. The home is clean amd organnied and the owner was available and engaged. Only a few things on the fault the property mgmt team: we had 4 bath towels for 7 people. The home had an 11 am checkout listed in the property but mgmt told us 10 last minute. And the tv in the main floor os virtually inoperable. We couldn't use it. Small things but they were preventable by the arrival inspector . Location was great and we had a wonderful time. We will be back.

Arapaho Bay Cabin

We rented the cabin for 5 nights but had to leave it after one night. The cabin had no hot water and no plans to repair it, which made our stay impossible. We contacted the administrator when we were at the cabin and he promptly responded and said that he was unable to resolve the issue that week and that he would refund us the full amount of the inconvenience and would not charge the cleaning fee as we left the house as we found it. As we did not receive the refund as promised, we tried to contact him and he no longer responded. We want our refund as promised.

Our First Thanksgiving in CO

Our teenage son was looking to spend some time in Colorado for the summer. But then he springs the idea of spending the some time in the winter in a cabin for Thanksgiving for our first time ever. We were looking for a cozy and quiet yet modern look for our Home away from Home this holiday season. We stumbled across this property after hours of searching. I love to cook so the kitchen sold me. We are only a family of four and we love comfort therefore the bedrooms were a hit. We love room and space and wildlife and quiet time as well. Booked. There was constant communication from the moment we booked. I was nervous at first using Vrbo for the first time. But the management company was very professional and the check in guide was so helpful. The owners were so sweet and Kevin called the day of to make sure we arrived safely and to assure we were ready to go with our stay at their cabin. Where do I begin? It snowed a lot but the driveway was plowed and ready for our arrival. Please make sure you follow their directions when they recommend the perfect car for snow. We settled in comfortably and found our rooms, unpacked and was surprised on the amount of supplies that the cabin was stocked with. Ie. Soap, shampoo, detergent, towels, condiments, spices, cleaning supplies, tea and coffee and all the pots and pans you need Kevin was a text and phone call away and we absolutely enjoued our first Thanksgiving as a family in Colorado. Bravo! We will be back.

Fun Grandlake, Co vacation

We enjoyed the property for the most part and the pictures are accurate. The cabin was clean but quite dated. It is not secluded, there are neighbors all the way around pretty close by. There is no bathroom on the top level loft / master bedroom area , so it was a bit of a hassle to have to share a small bath on the main level with everyone else. There is a second bath in the basement however that was very dated and could use some TLC. Everything worked however and we spent most of the trip on the lake or hiking. The unit is stocked with everything you could need, laundry, fans, kitchen stuff, etc. One thing we disliked is that we had to haul or own trash out which was a bit of a hassle to load all of our smelly garbage into our SUV and drive into town to dispose of a couple of times during our stay. The owner was very responsive however to a minor concern we had and I appreciated that. There were several light bulbs out in almost every room, we did notify the owner of this upon checkout so I'm sure those have been addressed as some of the rooms were dark. The location was pretty good for access to each of the lakes, hiking trails were all fairly close by as well. Very limited grocery options in Grand Lake, hitting the larger market on the way into town is best in Grandby. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay for our vacation.
