"Peggy and Earl's home was just perfect for our dance competition at the Broyhill Civic center. Home has been gorgeously remodeled and the farmhouse chic decor was right up our alley. I was so thankful we chose this home over a hotel as I was later told by friends the hotels were pretty awful. Both check in and checkout were simple and easy and it truly felt like home away from home. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone needing to stay in the Lenoir area!!!"

"This cottage was cute and comfy, with lots of little updates and personal touches that made our stay extra special. Starting with the chalkboard welcome sign, we felt from the beginning like things were set up just for us. "such a great stay! It was a short stay for my daughters dance competition. loved having space for our 3 young children and being able to cook our meals and even do our laundry. Definitely beat staying in a hotel and having to eat out for every meal, and going home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes. Very clean and the pull out couch was actually REALLY comfortable"

"My daughter and I had a perfect stay while in town for her dance competition. Everything we could have needed was provided, so we only had to shop for groceries. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The beds are comfortable and the decor is welcoming. Every detail is perfect. It felt like both home and vacation. If ever in the area again, this is the first place we will check for availability."

"My only regret is that our stay here was only for two nights. This house was perfect in all aspects. Everything was extremely clean and tidy at arrival. The three bedroom house is charming and the large walk-in shower with the rain showerhead was a huge sensation with my family. The host was very responsive and provided everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. In addition, the Town of Lenoir is very beautiful and hopefully we will have a chance to return."

"We were in town for a golf tournament and this wonderful cottage was perfect. Convenient to the golf course, restaurants, and the grocery store made it a perfect fit. Because the house was properly furnished, we were able to cook steaks and have friends over to visit. This is perfect for a quick getaway or extended visit. Hope to be able to come back soon!!"

"Had a relaxing time at the Lake Front Cottege. It was so nice to wake up to see the lake every day & go kayaking when you wanted. Quiet neighbors & safe. Enjoyed patio fire at night. Clean kitchen. It has a you need in the kitchen. Has pillows& bed linens. We brought our own towels. Had dish soap, etc. Nice stay. Host was respectful & helpful"

"We needed a rental to accommodate our off-road race team for an event, and the setup was perfect for what the guys needed. They were able to spread out, cook meals and relax between race days. The house was comfortable, very clean, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again when back in the area. Highly recommend!"

The listing was slightly misleading as it made it appear as though the house sat off on its own, but there is a property right behind the house that overlooks this house, as well as another house right across the pond. The house was clean for the most part, but there was a very distinct wet dog smell, and there were tufts of dog fur on the couch.
